1/3 superfree

Hi guys,

Just wondering about something:

I do Extra Easy days and I always make sure to have my 1/3 superfree. However sometimes I don't bother with it when I have my toasted cheese sandwiches for lunch because I'm using my hexs, and I figured that it doesn't matter, because the point of 1/3 superfree is to limit the amount of free foods or whatever you're eating, but if your hexs are measured out into exact amounts anyway, that's how much you're supposed to have of them, so surely it doesn't matter?

Is this wrong...?:confused:
 
We had this debate in group last night...our consultant said that if it is a 'meal' i.e. breakfast, lunch or dinner, we should always ensure we have our 1/3 superfree if on EE (even if it's just using Hexs). (And we should always try our best to have 1/3 superfree whenever we eat...even if its a snack because the idea is that you tend to snack on superfree food anyway!)

I usually use up both of my Hexs at breakfast with milk and cereal - but I make sure I still have a banana or apple or something too so that I'm getting my 1/3 SF with the meal.

I think the idea is that it is keeping your body replenished with the right food balances.

So you can still have your toasted cheese sandwich (yum! :)) but make sure you follow it up straight after (no longer than 5-10mins max according to our consultant!) with a piece of fruit so you're getting you're 1/3 SuperFree with your meal.

Thanks for the reply! I will make sure from now on I have an apple or a banana or something as well.
