1 day at a time

Morning everyone, hope you're all well.

Today is day 2 for me, and I'm feeling really positive. Yesterday was my first day back on the plan, and I managed it 100% - I used both of my Healthy Extras, ate plenty of SuperFree foods and stayed well within my Syns allowance, only using 7.

I've planned for another 100% day today and my meal plans are as follows:
Breakfast: "Magic Porridge" (HExB) with a chopped Banana. Pineapple.
Lunch: Jacket Potato with Cheese (HExA), Baked Beans and Salad
Dinner: Mushy Pea Chicken Curry with Pasta

I've no Syns planned for today, but I'll probably have something sweet later on tonight.

My NSV for today is just that I am back on plan 100%. For me that is enough to keep me motivated - I've proved I can do it already, so I just need to keep it up :)

Weigh in for me this evening to motivation levels are high. :D

Usual Aldi frozen fruit (defrosted of course) and yog for breakfast. I can eat that slowly at my desk all morning.

Just had lunch ~ couscous, cucumber, tomato and chunks of ham hock with just a dash of Hellmans Extra Light mayo. I'm going to tuck into an Activia fat free raspberry yog shortly with a cuppa.

HExA is the milk in my tea/coffee.

I usually have 2 slices of wholemeal toast (with marmite) as my HExB as soon as I get in from work & whilst supper is cooking but I'll forego that tonight and keep my fingers crossed.

Day 4 behaving

8.5 syns / out of curiosity checked on mfp and only had 1081 cals but thats cause didnt each much through the day.

nsv - ??? ive done 4 good days in a row & feel in control x
 
Yesterday I had my whole 15 syns but still not had a day where I went over them so I'm happy with that :) let's do it again today! X

Morning all :)

Yesterday went really well for me - another 100% day with 9 syns used.

So, today is day 3 of the fresh start. I'm feeling really motivated and positive about things, and I'm hoping that I can continue this way throughout the weekend. Like many, the weekend is the hardest time for me - it's when I want to pig out, and eat and drink all sorts of things that I shouldn't. I'm going to stay positive though - I can and will do this!!

So, food for today is as follows:

Breakfast: "Magic Porridge" (HExB) with a chopped Banana. Pineapple.
Lunch: Jacket Potato with Cheese (HExA), Baked Beans and Salad
Dinner: Pasta and Meatballs with a Tomato and Vegetable sauce

Again, no Syns planned as of yet. I like to save them for an evening - I usually have a packet of Velvet Crunch and an Alpen Light whilst I watch TV :drool:

NSV for the day: I have realised that planning day-to-day is key for making the plan work for me. By planning each day out, I know exactly what I'm going to have, and it keeps me on track - I know I'm going to be having a yummy meal later, so I don't pig out.

100% day for me too, with 7 syns used. Was feeling a little down last night, like I might fall off the wagon even though I hadnt. A wobble of confidence that I can really doing maybe.

msde the most of the sunshine yesterday too and took my camera out to photograph the snowdrops. Stopped for a cup of green tea at Newstead Abbey, no cake ! , and walked about 3 miles.

2 lbs loss for me today too :)

went to cousins for tea who's doing sw too so thought meal would be syn free & i used my syns for 2 vodka's & few tortilla chips with the chili & rice we had. Then found out she'd made it with sweet chili sauce & not el mince so had extra 7? syns i didnt knowabout.
so meant id had 19.5 syns

will get back on it & hopefully will even itself out.
 
Have had a glass or two of wine whilst watching the rugby - food wise I've been on plan. Spring must be in the air as I've stripped beds, turned mattresses and gone a little mad with the hoover.

Will be having another glass or two to celebrate now. :D

That's how I felt last weekend...I kept being stymied by sneaky additions of butter etc by mother dearest. :rolleyes:

think im just paranoid wont get a loss - really need to see scales move to motivate me at moment. i need to learn to not stress about it.

Hey all, just popping in. I've been completely, 100% on plan since Wednesday (the start of my new week). I'm absolutely over the moon :)

NSV for the day is that this is the first weekend in a long time when I have been 100% on plan and kept an accurate food diary. I feel so good, and really pleased with myself - it just goes to show it can be done.

I'm getting excited for WI on Tuesday now, hoping for a good loss :p

Managed to avert a potential problem today & so pleased with how it turned out.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks all on target but had been asked over to brother's where my parents are babysitting his toddler this week. Dilemma! Mum would have done the cooking which meant delicious but syn heavy roasties, carrots or leeks glazed with butter etc. :eek:

So they all came here. Mum had slow cooked a beef joint but I was able to prep all the veg. Roast pots and snips with spray oil and carrots/sprouts/savoy cabbage and boiled pots all SW free. I was able to fill my face without a qualm! :D:D
 
Woops had a week of being good then 2 days not so much! SO much harder to resist at TOTM!! Back on it properly tomorrow :) x
 
Tue & Wed were BAD. so far removed from sw but being good today
only 2.5 syns and been shopping so should be able to keep on straight & narrow for rest of the week

nsv - 2 days will / have not become a bad week x

It should have been 1.5lb I'm sure but the scales jumped up half a pound just as the beep went. :rolleyes:

Oh well, payback for the two Welshcakes I had earlier - Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant Hapus. :D:D

1lb off is great and the extra 0.5lb should be a bonus/starting point for next week

As for me..... I've behaved again today - 3.5 syns

Nsv - resisted popcorn despite my little girl trying to feed it to me and it smelt so good lol
