Yummy! I was thinking of making a smoothie! On sw you have to syn fruit if u blend it....that's not the case with ww is it? X
 
I've never made a smoothie before had do you make them ? Xx

No u don't need to point it. It's free in a smoothie... Yum enjoy! X
 
I buy frozen fruit from tesco think it's 3 for a fiver. I add skimmed milk a bit of fat free yoghurt.. You need to measure and point the milk and yoghurt. I like summer fruits or strawberry and banana. Mango is really nice too... Experiment and see what u like.xx

I just made mine...used 10 strawberries about 8 grapes and 2 ripe bananas and didn't add milk or anything as it was runny enough!!

Here is the final product!!!

I texts my leader and she told me fruit not free in a smoothie :cry:

Hmmm! - I do WW online, and on their recipe section they have 9 smoothie recipes, every one of which is only pointed for 'other' non-fruit ingredients - eg milk/yogurt etc. There is also a 5 day breakfast planner on the site which includes a Strawberry & Mango smoothie and I have just run it through the point tracker and again the fruit is not pointed.
 
well to be fair - as mentioned above i didnt add anything but zero points fruit - so im not too bothered.....

I could easily have eaten 2 bananas, handful of strawbs and grapes! :) blended or not!

Worth knowing that perhaps it shouldnt be a daily thing though.....!

on SW it was a rule you couldnt have fruit in smoothies as the consumption changes. In other words, you could down 4 smoothies quite easily, whereas the chewing and consuming of fruit left you feeling fuller for longer - hence 'actual' fruit was free, but 'blended/mushed/cooked/stewed' was not.

Hope that makes a little sense - i am not that good at explaining things i see as senseless!!! hehe!

I'm with you YummyMummy and Elle. Elle - I could never really take on board the SW blending rule either - I mean I could understand how say, drinking orange juice would make it easy to 'drink' 6 oranges, which you probably wouldn't eat whole, but I could never accept that mashing a banana technically made it not free!

I think these kind of discrepancies between what is on the WW** site, and what Consultants say, can make it difficult for those who are trying to follow the plan who feel they need the 't's crossed -and the 'i's dotted. Personally I will not count fruit in a smoothie, as per the site. In fact, I may go and have one right now, just 'cos I can! :D ;)

** To be fair - it is not just WW but SW as well where these discrepancies crop up.
 
Have ruined all my hard work me thinks.... Hubby took me out to dinner yesterday for Indian. I was good had only grilled chicken and 2 tablespoons of boiled rice an lots of salad an yoghurt and only tasted a tiny bit of his CTM! He then bought me a milkshake from tinseltown which we shared bu he did ask thrm to use less ice cream and skimmed milk....but it was v point heavy for a drink! I felt sp guilty on the way there worrying about what I was gonna eat and then feeling
Like an ungrateful cow for not appreciating it! I hate surprises! I'm still within my weeklies just but I think since wi is tomorrow I will now probably stay the same. need to damage control today any tips?

Drink lots of water and try not to beat yourself up about it. Things can always spiral, so as long as you get right back on to be focused and on plan it will be the best plan!
