ProPoints 17th times a charm!!!

Hey guys,
God i really havent been on here much. Ive been flicking through yer diaries but im just so so exhausted i cant bring my self to follow my diet or comment on yer diaries. Im so sorry. Im just so burnt out. on sleepover.....again! finished in morn, doind 9-9 thurs and then sleepover fri morn until sat morn.... Then off for 6 days-cant wait!
Im really hoping to get back to some normality again soon.
I think to be honest as ive said before the dieting with the weddings in focus stressed me out. Im happy enough with how i look at the moment. I have fab dresses for the two weddings and im just gona enjoy myself.
I wont pretend im being good, im not. Im still earned my APs by pedometer and back at gym-not very intensive but going all teh same.
Hope everyones good. Im shattered and counting down to bedtime. xxx
 
Well you look fantastic, so it's good to hear you feel happy & confident with yourself - that's the real battle! Good luck over the next few days, keep those 6 days off in your mind :)

I agree with the above. If you feel happy with yourself thats the battle won. Maybe change to maintaining for a while, come back to the weight loss is you really want to later on.
Don't worry about commenting on others diaries, people understand that life can get in the way xx

Tracy-Maintaining is great idea. Mite help me get back into it by tracking but not being so stuck for pp. Or at least feeling like I'm stuck. What is it? 3 extra a day. Ya?

Ya think maintance is a good idea for a bit while you get your head focused again althoght you are at a healthy BMI and if you feel good in yourself that is the main thing. Think maintenance is between 3 and 6 pp extra a day
 
Maintenance for me was more than the 3pp a day, but yeah add 3pp per day if you are still losing next week add 1pp a day till you start to maintain. It'll take the pressure off and you'd never know might help. I remember getting my biggest loss in months after upping pp to maintain
 
Ok guys. So, ive decided that im gona enjoy the weddings as I am. But, as it doesn't look like my life will be calming down this side of Christmas (yes I said it!) then im gona step back and re look at things.
Depending on what I actually weigh this Friday, it 13 weeks to 20th December so 13 weeks to loose prob 9lbs. its seems a lot and im not gona stress if I don't get there but I need an aim to work towards.

Im still not sure how this is gona work, as I just thinkm, realistically, if you go out for dinner and drinks 49 pp doesn't go too far. I can be good with food but 5pp for bottle of hein isn't long adding up! And im not gona pretend im not gona drink on nites out. I think this is where im struggling most. As much as I enjoy the nite out or meal out etc, I feel cheated at having to spend the following 6 days at 26 dailies... I know this is life but I just do! :(
And I cant 'up' exercise those weeks to make up for extra pps, cos on a normal week (ie the last few weeks have not been normal!) I exercise as much as work allows...

So I have no answers. I know there's no magical cure. ive always know it. I just need to find my inner OCD queen who, once she kicks in, wont LET me not track.
But im concerned that when I feel I mite fail or not do as well as I want (even in an individual week) I sabotage myself...

So part of me is thinking of giving myself 28 dailies and 49 weeklies this week (from Friday) and see, as I and you guys, said above, if having a little more freedom mite get me back in to the swing of things and I may even loose more weight (eh Laura?).

Im sorry I havnt been around. Work this month was crazy. My boss gave me a rota just as bad for the next month but im gona talk to her about it tomoro-i have solution that will make my rota a little easier without messing up the hours too much (im much better at jigsaw puzzle rotas, than she is).
So im hoping that things will calm for me. My garden is done, my old car is sold. The dresses are sorted for the weddings and I feel comfortable in them. So im hoping life is back to being about me! :)

All sounds good Brona, I hope your rota gets sorted too. Sometimes the person doing the rotas can't see what's in front of them!!

Will you upload some pics of the garden please please?!

I've always lost on 29pp a day, so maybe try that when you're not out and about - you may still lose weight. Have fun experimenting with points!!
 
So guys.
Day 1. Goin OK So far but it's definitely the nites that are gettIng me!
Though I'm on sleepover so easier here as not as many nice things around to eat. Shopping tomoro so cupboards are bare so hopefully if I just start breaking tHe bad habits again I'll be OK.
Didn't WI this morn. Just gona be super good for week though only 6 days cos WI on next Thurs cos its my friends wedding that day.
TOTM has arrived so feeling bloated anyway so hoping that a few good days eating and walking when I can't get to gym and I'll at least loose the extended weight.
Fingers crossed I'm OK tonite-I just seem to go-Ah who cares-and binge in evenings. I think I just need to see the scales move again.
It also kinda depressed me that I'm only 4/5 lbs lighter than this time last year. I know it's less, but seriously-a whole year! :(
Having eaten consciously but not actually tracking as I go today, I've ended up using 22pp after dinner. I feel much better thinking I have 7pp left rather than 4 so hopefully just the psychological freedom mite be enough to get back into it.

So I've managed to sTay away from all the bold food in goodie press all day.
Its through a service users bedroom so no access in next half hour.
Moved any nice things in kitchen in there for nite aswel.
And then one of girls bought a multi pack of Mars icecreams which I love and wudnt take them home so moved them into the freezer in house next door so won't go near them either. Hehe.
I just know that it's the next two hours that I'll want to pick! So having an apple and a cup of lemon and ginger tea-feeling a little run down-no prizes for guessing why.
Anyway hope your Fridays are goin well :D x

Going home to west cork tomoro as it's my friend's little girl's 1st birthday party.
So she rang tonite and said she's doing lunch and cake....

Im gona have brekkie at work and then fruit for road down. And try and be sensible bout how much and what i eat there and go from there. Will prob have wine with my mammy but otherwise no reason i have to go crazy for few days im down home. May add few pps to each day (even ontop of 29pp) rather than blowing it in one go. Ill see how i go tomoro.

am i right in thinking a normal slice of like cream and jam sponge type cake is 10pp ya? is that without icing or anything? No idea what they'll have but just wanted to prepare my self. :)

Helped cut it and serve it but didn't take any myself and just had tea. :D
Also it was buffet salad so was able to pick the healthier bits and didn't take bread either.
I Think I'm back on track. I hope so anyway. :D x

Yummy Fairy cakes that I helped my mam make this morning for outing she's gone on this evening.
Had one and we added stewed apple and cream to them. Yum! Very sweet-bit more than im used to but still so yummy. And worked out pp as we were making them-8 all up with cream and apple added. A lot but so nice as a treat.

My mam also made scones and I always say no to them as I think theyre so high in points but worked them out aswel-6pp each! Going taking some back for my freezer! Didn't realise they could be so low. And if I made them id use skimmed milk so less again! :) Love finding new things I can have! :)

More is more! I know you missed my flap during week but decided to up dailies to 29 and then 49 weeklies. Hoping that more freedom mite help me get back into it. Working so far. Was just stressing over using dailies and still wanting something so instead of having something small I was having total binge.

And yes some bum kicking is in order! :D
