I'm goin to a wedding on fri and haven't a clue what sort of food will be there but sure feck it I'm just gona enjoy it and forget about pointing for the day that's in it

Ah, no way-only over the road! I work for a residential house for KARE-but they have a day service in Blessington.
Ya I've gottne bit better with trying to preplan.
You going to the whole wedding thing? Well don't worry bout it too much but if you want you could do the usual ww thing-sauce on the side, lots of veg instead of potatoes (I know potatoes are technically a beg but u know what I mean). And if you're not a fussy eater-maybe the fish choice rather than the meat? T
hat's what im planning on doin-have wedding on 13th and again on 26th of this month. Other than that i'll have to hope for best for starters and may skip the dessert but that's just me.

I don't like Strawberry anything either! X

We don't usually have buffets at irish weddings. Its usually a sit down meal-starters, main course (usually meat, fish or veg), desserts and a lot of alcohol.

Not usually no.
Though couples used to have sandwiches, cocktail sausages etc again at 11.30pm approx-traditionally for the people who only go to the afters part of wedding (9pm on). But now people get elaborate-fancy fish and chips cart, icecream carts or even sweet carts so there's no guarantee anymore.

I would be on good at resisting sweets. I love love love sweets and jellies!

My family are the type to be questioning why I'm not having bread with starters, desert etc so I'm hoping I will be able to chose off each course because I Wana save enough points for drink ya know yourself

Ah shur even if it is salmon, nothing wrong with meat option. Just eat til you're nicely full-not stuffed. I know-its hard when other people are watching what you're eating. Good idea with pavlova.
Also try and have low point breakfast and lunch that day and even bring fruit wit you to pick at between church and hotel.
And Yes I totally Get needing points for alcohol. Hehe.
Also work your butt off exercising that week to cover yourself.
As I said yesterday-these are just my plans for the weddings I've coming up.
But most of all-enjoy it.
