2.5 stone to lose club

Morning lovelies!

I'm back after an exceptionally naughty birthday weekend! Totally and utterly off plan but I had the most amazing time so it was worth it!

Back on it today! Hope everyone had lovely weekends and are all set for a 100% week :)

Completely off plan weekend for me here too. My little girls birthday on Saturday and I don't think I ate ANY sf food :eek: Then Sunday my partner had a rare Sunday off so we went for a meal out. Once again...NO sf food. I am fully expecting a gain or sts this week but going to WI regardless. No shame in a gain and all that. Back on the wagon today though. Did my zumba last night and will do it again tonight and then off for a run tomorrow. I want those inches off even if the weight isn't coming off. In the last week and a half Ive lost almost an inch off my waist and an inch off my hips :D impressed with that.

Know exactly what you mean... Had an awful weekend - food wise; but plan to up the exercise and get back on plan. I too want the inches off..

I was really good this weekend but nervous for weigh in tonight (always am) I have a busy week this week, wondered what you all think of my plans for eating out:?

Tuesday - BF birthday going for curry - was thinking Dhansak or jalfrezi as they are quite low??? would usually have a korma or just plain chicken curry but think they are prob quite high.
Wednesday - dinner with friends at Nandos - guess I could do quite well here? chicken no skin, rice, side salad?
Friday - Pub lunch or Thai meal - could always grab a salad at Pub its if we end up in Thai place that I have no idea what I will eat - any ideas?

Usually I would panic when it comes to eating out and end up loosing control but really want to at least maintain next week. Plus I really need to just enjoy things a bit more, Ive been quite restrictive for too long now and with just 2 of my 6.5 stone left to loose I need to look at ways to incorporate eating out in to every day living x

I haven't actually had an Indian out since being on SW. Maybe you could go for Tandoori chicken with a salad? Remove the skin and that would be very low? Although a bit similar to your Nando's maybe?
Thai you could go for a dish with noodles and veg? Pad Thai type thing? Allow a couple of syns for oil?

Nellylou, feeling much better today thanks. Haven't snapped at anyone all day! That might be because I've been on my own most of the time though...

Nandos is perfect for a healthy meal out. As for curry, I would say go for some tandoori meats with a tomato based curry sauce. And avoid naan bread - horrendously high in syns!
 
Oh see that misscorset beat me to the tandoori idea :) For thai, you could have a stirfry and lots of noodles? I think thai food is pretty healthy as long as you avoid the curries with coconut milk, as that is quite high I think.

Hi all, sorry been MIA the last few days.. Been going through some heavy personal issues... I did my usual and found solace in alcohol and bad food :( I really need to learn not to do this! Just feel fat, bloated amd not happy....

So back to plan today..... I will get back on it.... No more stories!

At the Indian always have chicken Rogan josh and boiled rice :) 1 popadum all for 10syns

Sorry to hear that soon-to-be-slim. It's so easy to eat emotionally. I'm exactly the same. Eat when I'm happy or sad.

Thanks all for the support, I lost a dear friend at the weekend and its all so sad.... :(

So weighed in today and have put on 2 1/4lbs :( Oh well.... I expected it because i have been drinking and eating rubbish...... I did try yesterday again to get on plan then opened a bottle of wine and that was that!! Its so hard to get back on it when you fall off!! ahh!!

Today so far i have been ok.... Planning on a green day....

All have a great one :) Started to rain here but weekend is looking like a heatwave!!
 
Hi all, can I join the 2.5stone club?! I've got just over 2.5st to go, have lost just 2 stone so nearly half way. Feel like the next 2 stone is going to be a real struggle :-(

Started sw about 6 weeks ago and do mainly red days as carbs make me really bloated. Don't go to classes just doing it from home so tough at times!

Thanks Kat! I am proud of my losses so far but going through a bit of a bleh time! Just can't work my body out really. I have a fab loss of 5-6lbs one week then sts or gain a little for the next few weeks so I don't know what's going on really!! Wi is tomorrow and I know it'll be another sts :-(

I know I'll get there, just having an off period. Doesn't help that my hubby eats tonnes of calories and loads of nice foods and always stays the same. Men! I keep telling him it'll catch up on him one day ha!

I really really want another 2 stone gone by Christmas!! :)

Jenny, you can try all sorts to get things moving... Fish week, success express, mix to max..... Lots of speedy soup....are you exercising? Yes and I agree men! My oh the same!!

We so far so good today.... Resisted the offer of wine from oh and had a equator syn free beer... Feeling a little more postive today x I think it was just shock the last few days.....
