fruit roulade - 2 syn for the whole cake

1 tub quark
4 eggs
4 tbsp sweetner
vanilla essence (or any) ALMOND ESSENCE IS REALLY NICE AND TAKES THE EGGY TASTE AWAY
fresh fruit

options white choc sachet

seperate the eggs

add the yolk, half the quark,
sweetner and essence into a bowl, whisk together and set aside.

Whisk egg white till stiff. Whisk half into the mixture then fold in other half.

Using a swiss roll tin spray with fry light ( i put greasproof paper in first the spray so doesnt stick) pour the mixture in and bake at
180 for 15 - 20 minutes. Leave to cool

in a dish add remaining quark ,options and mix together.

Remove the cake from tin when cool spread the quark evenly, add finely chopped fruit (strawberry and raspberry my fave). Roll the cake from one end. Slice to serve.

The whole cake is only 2 syns and thats the options in the quark filling, some dont use this just sweeten with splenda but i love the options.
When the cake comes out of the oven it will have risen loads but will go very flat when cool lol i thought it had gone wrong first time i made it but was lovely.

That cake sounds scrummy. I've got to say baking cupcakes has been missed since starting SW. Never tried the SW cakes so might give it a go.

Feeling less snacky at the moment but still been off plan for a day and a bit, so did a big food shop today and wrote a food plan yesterday. Luckily Im running and doing cross training 6 days a week (training for a half marathon) so one day off plan shouldn't hamper my losses. Went to group and lost 2lb this week so Im getting ever so close to.being half way to 2.5st off. What a glorious day it will be when the weight I've lost is a larger number than the amount I have to lose.
 
Hi all having problems posting as broadband is rubbish at the mo. bit fed up with it now as it does this every few days! Have tried to post 3 times but just can't get through. Hope you're all well and thanks for roulade recipe nellylou :)
 
Your welcome, can't take credit as copied from the recipe thread, I love it and most people seem to rave about it but there is the odd person who thinks its awful - hope you all like it x

Ok so I have had all my hex's and syns for the day.... But still feel picky! I hate this feeling when I go off plan I wake up my taste buds I am sure! They are screaming at me to eat and eat crap! I am really tired too and I know this is my worst trigger for eating....... Gotta push through this!! On a green day... Might make some microwave crisps if I get desperate!!

Oh wants to go out to cinema.... I just wanna go and have a bath and go bed!!

Thank you all seem to be back on again. Oh soon-to-be-slim its a nightmare when you're trying so hard but you just want to inhale anything and everything. I was in your shoes last night. It's like the itch you cant scratch but it drives you mad. Like nellylou says stay strong. Ps missed you all too. Been driving me nuts that I couldn't get on! ;-)

Got through it, not one piece of popcorn passed my lips! omg if he had said he was going to have some i woulda took something for me to munch on! men!! we saw the sweeny which was brill :)

So today i weighed in a day early and was angry my 2 day off plan have resulted in me up 1 1/2lbs!, but weigh in day is tomorrow so you never know i might get it off again by then... :( good thing hunger is getting under control... i notice that when i wake up in the morning i am not hungry at all when i get control back. Having a green day today need comfort food!!!

Wow that was restrained. Not sure I could have resisted popcorn. Don't worry about the gain cos it is likely to come off quickly but know how you feel I'd be p***ed off too.

I weighed this morning too and I'm STS this week but have been 100% as usual. My scales are usually about the same as ones at SW but still a couple of days to go. Just have to accept that it will slow down but it is annoying. Was going to try nellylou's roulade but better not!

Peacelily I know that sometimes weigh drops the day of the weigh in.... It's funny that sometimes it just happens like that, you still have a few days... Your doing great 100% you can't ask more than that! Make the roulade dont deny yourself!

Hehe you're right! Might have go later. I know that the less I eat the slower it goes.
 
You def should make it - it's only 0.5 syns per slice! :)

You did well at the cinema soon to be slim. Next time I go I'm going to take a box of mikado which is about 15 syns a box I think.

Not sure what we are up to today - looks sunny outside but I feel chilly. Really really need to do some exercise but finding it hard to motivate myself :/

I agree with the exercise thing. Really struggling to get motivated and things all feeling a bit flabby

Going to drag Boyf out for a walk after dinner, will aim for 40 mins :)
 
I hate exercise but been doing sessions... I always find I eat more am more hungry and don't lose weight well when I exercise and diet!! But do it to make me have happy hormones!
