2.5 stone to lose club

Good morning gals, well done to all that have experienced losses. For those of us that haven't (which includes me) then lets hope this week will be a good week.

Miss_Corset, you are doing so well... I'm sure you'll be the first to lose 2.5 stones. I'm going to have a peek at your food diary to get some tips.

Unfortunately, I've not been doing very well. I start of with good intentions, but just haven't got that motivation to keep going..

Plan to take SW one day at a time - hopefully that won't be too daunting :sigh:
 
Thanks, Glam Up - I'm actually amazed at how quickly I've seen results and how easy I've found it to stick to. I have NO willpower at all normally, so I reckon if I can do this, anyone can.

I've found that planning is key for me. If I plan my meals (especially lunches) for the week, and shop accordingly, it's really easy to be 100%. It's going out and messing with my routine which make it trickier (which is why I'm gonna struggle this week being away because on planes etc., there just isn't much choice! Alpen Lights will be in my handbag though! And I shall be going to M&S in the airport for some fruit too!).

And make sure you treat yourself. I have a treat every day - usually up to 5 syns - might be 2 pink wafers with a cupaa (4 syns), a Freddo (5 syns), Fab ice lolly (4.5 syns) or a small scoop of ice cream (50mls = 2.5 syns) with some frozen raspberries and a square of chopped chocolate on the top (1.5 syns). I try and average 8 syns a day, so I have 3 to use in cooking (for sauces, olive oil etc) plus my treat. Usually that works out pretty well.

Hey lovelies,

How's everyone getting on?

I'm back from my various adventures and thankfully have managed to shift the gains I made from late nights, Champagne and hotel food! Puts me with 14lbs to go to target and 8 weeks 'til my next work trip, so I need to get super focused and get back to the steady 2lb per week losses. Really, really hope I can do it!

Went out this weekend and brought new swimwear (tummy control, I love you!) and actually didn't feel too horrendous in them, but hopefully in a few weeks time I might actually feel good! At least after a spray tan, anyway!

Aww thanks Glam Up. How are you getting on?

I went to Tesco and did a mega-SW shop this morning so my work drawers are full of mug shots and Alpen Lights and I've got lots of super free to snack on too! xx

Can i join you all? i really would like to lose anything but 2 1/2 stone would be great......

I am doing sw from home... done it many times but am unable to get to class and really missing the support from people... :(

I am turning 40 next may and dont wanna be fat and 40! i have loads of really nice clothes in my wardrobe i just cant get on..... totally gutted i am now 2 stone heavier than i was 2 years ago....

This time i want this so bad...... really am looking forward to it :) Fed up with all the junk i have put into me...

Plenty of socialising and fun which may involve lots of good food.... So I gotta stay strong!!!!

You can totally do this! Just think about weather like this and being outside wearing lovely summer dresses and swimwear on the beach and feeling a million dollars. It's totally worth the effort :)

I'm on the brink of the 10s so terrified about WI tomorrow. I'm so desperate to get there! I think I might cry if I see an 11 on the scales tomorrow! xx

Not great unfortunately - scales are showing STS. Although I feel really bloated (lovely!) and have been drinking 3 or 4 pints more water over the last few days than I normally would (lots of time in pub gardens trying to resist wine so drinking water with slices of lemon instead!) so I wonder whether it's water retention? Really disappointed but trying not to let it get me down. Might be naughty and weigh again tomorrow if I'm feeling a bit better...xx
