Why don't u try to do some upper body cardio - this is of course if yr after exercise!!!
Sit on a chair and do some punches (jabs) forward, get some tins (or weights if yr posh!) and do dome lifts!
Last January I fell at work and tore the ligaments in my knee - was off work 3 wks and on crutches for 4 wk so I know how annoying it is!
I must say, I hadn't started watching my weight at the time so I just sat all day eating junk food!!
