8 week challenge - bride2b - day 1 eeek

Good morning!!

I was tired yes lol was asleep by 9.30 ha! Although my youngest was awake every half hour from 3am so I'm tired! Lol

Well, here it is, day 3!! I've had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning, and it says dun dun dunnnnnnn........ 13.11 :) doing a little dance, a little victory dance! At this rate I will achieve my mini goal of 2 stone to wear a nice dress to get married in!!

How am I doing? Mentally exhausted, feel dizzy now and again, have a niggling headache in the mornings and massisve hunger pangs early hours of the morning when I feed I'll miss. Just had half of my shake, now for an extra pint of water and were good to start the day :)

Plans for today, well I'm playing the nurse as my oh is off sick for the week.

Been to stock up on my turkey breast and white fish, and there were sooooo many temptations! Resisted them all, bought my meat and veg and came home.

Any other ideas of what we can have? I'm missing food this afternoon, I feel like I'm ready for a really good dinner! :( and I'm really not looking forward to a 'packet' this afternoon :(

Live got the food blues if that's even possible!! Tried to get my oh to do it with me for the month, but no...... Make things easier for me then!!

Nothing today really just been shops and park, going for a walk on the canal later. I hate food shopping lol well done you for resisting!!

Ah that sounds nice, what do you do with the stir fry? Do you Add any soy, garlic, ginger? What do ya have in yours? Being new to all this I'm still not sure of the boundaries, and to be honest I don't think I can stick these meals, just had mac cheese and urgh! All the flavours are too strong.

Man flu, well its more like man hood....... I took him to have the Snippety snip snip snip today..... Watched it be done! Fascinating!! :)

Aw have a nice walk up the canal! :) any recipe ideas are more than welcome. I'm not likeing this packet stuff, I just want a big bowl of spag Bol or lasagne lol xx
 
U can add garlic and I add like the tiniest bit of LigHT soya sauce, u arnt suppose to have that but it never did me any harm!! There's a night fry light to with spices in it!!

That's basically all I lived off stir dry and salads and the packs lol

Oh dear lol I bet it was fascinating! I've mentioned that to my oh after we've had all the kids we wants, his face literally turns grey hahha xxx

Never mind what we go through giving birth lol.

Cables,

They don't use a scalpel its more like a soldering iron lol they singe it not cut it, he can't feel anything, they have 4 diazapan half an hour before he goes in then local annastetic! Few pain killers and all seems well so far, tight boxers for the week, a week off work..... Alright he's playing the dying fly a it bit but hey who doesn't lol

Im sure you can be very persuasive lol :)
 
I don't know what's wrong with me today, I feel really hungry! I did my day backwards and feel like I've messed it up..... I had my bar as a meal instead of my snack, then a pack at 3pm and dinner of turkey, shallot, garlic spinach , rocket and watercress.

Ive been soooooooo tempted by the families food, I made them an Italian sausage, tomato and basil sauce with pasta! I wasn't impressed with my turkey, made it as exciting as I could and I'm just not satisfied! When will this hunger go?

Also does decaf tea count towards your water goal or do you have to drink another glass of water for every cup of tea? Xx
 
Good evening all,

Well today is the end of day 4, and I don't feel as hungry today :) its been a long old day! I've achieved my water goal
woohoo, probably over lol and I managed to survive the day at work although I've had a killer headache from hell all day! Dizzy spells like my eyes can't focus, plus it's been a hot day!

Anyway, day 4 done, onwards and upwards to day 5! Going to put my order in for my months supply this evening, I can't do this week and give up! No chance! Lol Dying to get on the scales but oh has hid them from me and says I can't have them till weigh day..... Wednesday :( I'm dying to know how I'm doing! Lol

Tomorrow I'm meeting a friend after work, and I'm worried about feeling a bit stupid ordering water! We were dining but thank goodness she's changed her mind, I mean I'd feel daft ordering a piece of chicken and 200g of veg, how does anyone manage this? Or do you just not dine out with friends lol

Anyway, hope everyone has had a good day xx

How was your day? Did you have a good weekend? We met for drinks, didn't eat and I just had water! Check me out! BUT they put lime in my water and without even thinking I drank it, wiill that bring be out? I mean lime wedge not lime cordial.

Well, it's the end of day 5! I'm tired, feeling dispondent, sometimes hungry, sometimes not, tonight I just wanted to tuck into a proper dinner as I sat in the restaurant, the smell! A shake really doesn't cut it! I'm just having my half a shake as a hot drink, and the thought is making me gag, the lumps because it doesn't dissolve properly urgh!

BUT I ordered my months worth last night so no backing out now! So many things coming up, I feel reallyfedup being o e of these people who gains a lb thinking about food, my friend is tiny, amazing figure, 2 kids and can just eat and eat! Jealous of her tonight, jammy missy lol

Had a peek on the scales this morning, I feel obsessed I just want to stand on them every day! I've lost 6lbs, 3 days till weigh in but I'm gutted as the last 2 lb I lost was muscle not fat! My muscle mass went down and my fat percentage has gone up.

I don't feel like I have energy to excessive yet! whatdo you guys do for excersize. I didn't think we could do any on this plan but I can't keep losing muscle! I have a gym membership but thinking I shouldn't go to heavy? Loads of classes I want to do!

Nothign much to report other than I'm having a fed up day! But I haven't given up, soooooo tempted to tonight!

Anyway, tired missy eye gonna gag on my shake and go to. Bed. Nanight all xxx

As for exercise i never did any as i just didnt have the energy! But others do, some do the 30 day shred :O and go the gym, just take it slow and see how you feel, dont go overboard though :)

Hello day 6!

Well, I've nearly made it thought the week without falling off the wagon, although I'm craving carbs and meat like crazy! I'm feeling the withdrawal, I didn't think I'd miss having toast, cheese, ham etc but I really do, and as stupid as it sounds, I'd kill for a banana!


Im finding it hardest when cooking for my oh and little ones, like doing lunch today! Still very tired, ended up taking the little ones for a sleep and we all slept for 2 hours, and I could have kept going, so I have my water goal to catch up on!


Booked in for a bums and tums class at 6pm! I thought it would be ok to do, a bit of toning down there lol hopefully not too energetic for now.


The scales seem to going in the right direction, (13.9) although haven't lost as much as some people do in their first week. 2 days till official weigh in! Rock on! And my new box of goodies should arrive tomorrow.


I'm still waiting to feel revitalised and full of energy..... When will that come, I'm not digging the lathargic feeling, dizzy spells and so on.


Well it's time to think about dinner and getting my groove on for this class! Wish me luck!! Xx

How are you getting on with this toning up? Did you have a good weekend?

I put the powder in my cocktail shaker, add some cold water and shake, then a little hot water and shake, pour into a cup and top up with hot water and stir.

As for Excersise, think I'm gonna go to a few classes, do a bit of running, aqua aerobics and a bit of swimming, although I don't think it would be advisable to go in the steam room or sauna ay? I'm light headed as it is! What's new sweet, what ya been up to? Xx
 
afternoon hun :) thought i would come see how your doing?as far as going out and having water i never do you can have coke zero and dr pepper zero not sure if they have them in the restaurants but i would put a can in my bag lol im nawty though ;) xx
 
I made my shake different hot and it was lush, I prepared the shake then put it in the microwave, just keep checking it every 20 seconds :D

The class sounds good hope u have a good time!

Hello all,

Well today is the end of day 8 and things are seeming easier. I still get hungry, but most of the times it's all good.

So today was the big weigh in and I lost 7lb! Not bad not bad, not as much as some people, but hey it's half a stone!! Can't grumble with that.

Nothing much else to report other than I'm going to the gym to tone up and running, 8 days down, 29 to go xx

I lost 6lb in my first week when I did it last time, 7lb is great!! Keep it up :)
