9 stones lost in 10 months!

I've not been on here in so long but I used to share the bad times and now I want to share the good! I just want to implore to everyone who's having a bad day to keep going! When someone says you can't do it... You do it with knobs on!! I read a book about how there's a fat girl inside you and a thin girl inside of you, the fat girl is the person you don't want to be. She's greedy and makes bad decisions, she is your past. Then there's the thin girl inside of you who is trying to get out but the horrible fat girl won't let her! You have to kick her butt! She is your future!! It truly struck a chord with me! I hope it might for someone else.

I'm using the money I've been paid for this article and the money I'm getting for another piece to retrain as a gym instructor! Trust me 12 months ago I would never have dreamt of being in this situation. So stick with it. Dreams can come true!!

Hey, sorry for the late reply! The book is called 'run fat *****, run!' It's really good. Very much aimed at beginner runners. Great for inspiration!

I did all through just plain old healthy eating. I read a lot about nutrition. I really believe that school failed me in the sense of educating me about physical and nutritional health. I learnt how to cook pasta in my cookery classes and in PE if you weren't the fastest or the strongest they weren't interested in you or you were ridiculed by children and teachers.
