That sounds horrendous stupid man making u feel so crappy for a start particularly after you've had such a good week I'm glad your c is gunna follow it up he should be spoken to definitely it's not on at all. And well done for keeping positive still would be so easy to think bugger it and to have had that big dominoes :) x

Hurray! Back seems to be accepting some exercise at work and has eased off a LOT - phew! Still not sure if I should tackle the shred tonight or play it safe and do it this weekend

Looking forward to getting the shopping done tonight so I have food again! Planning on making some quiches this weekend to eat with couscous but unsure of work lunches yet - oh and make some samosas - seeing as the last ones didn't work out quite so well!

Quiet weekend for me though - happy Friday every one! :)

Ooh sticky chicken is LoVELY!!!

Chop up some chicken Breast - then Put 3table spoons of each in a bowl with the chicken - honey, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce
Pour all into a hot pan (a wok is better) keep on a high heat and just keep stirring to stop burning - it won't look like much at first but it starts going lovely and sticky and done! Yum!

I just used any old recipe online (see pic below) and used one sheet of filo pastry which makes 2 - use any mince but it's nice with lamb

image-2312988070.jpg

Must admit I leave out the mint as never have any - just fry it all off in fry light - once its cooled cut one sheet of filo pastry in half so you got two long pieces - use beaten egg to brush the outsides to help stick and then roll like a samosa (there's google images online to get the 'knack' for rolling to its sealed properly - but then I brown off in a pan with fry light an then whack in oven for 20 mins each side or until crispy (obviously their usuaully deep fried)

Ooh can't wait to make some tomorrow now lol

Hey hun - have taken your advice and will leave the shred for tonight - mainly because I can't stand to Inflict more pain on myself for tonight lol x

Yeah its not worth it. Might as well rest for a couple of days and then get back on it than do something now and be bed ridden for a week!

youll be up and about in no time.

How did you hurt your back anyway?

You need to ensure you do lots of core exercises so that its nice and strong so it supports your back.. x

I shall certainly look into that - I do need to take care of myself better so this may be a good idea

Morning world!

I'm wide away which is kind of unusual as weekends I enjoy a lie in as I'm up so early during the week, but due to bad back Thursday night I was tired come last night so went to bed at 11.30

Back seems to ache a bit today (not got out of bed yet mind you) so hopefully moving it will help stretch it out

I'm full from last nights take away but did stick with chicken meat in a pitta - although it was a huge pitta so I'm glad I didn't have any syns so I can allocate the full 15 to be on the safe side

Also did the shopping - yay! I'm armed again - I'm on an orange fix recently - cant seem to get enough of them - however if I'm correct in thinking that oranges are speedy food so big bonus there (hey, beats being on a cream cake fix!)

Going to be a fairly lazy weekend this one - I have some prep work to do for the come dine with me night at the end of this month, printing the invites and the games etc (oh did I mention this is scored and there's a winning group at the end of it - and I might be a teeny tiny bit competitive when it comes to competitions - okay A LOT!!)

Also need to walk the dog and pick up some stationary supplies - more specific some card as I'm hoping to get started on some designs for T-shirts - other half has even decided there's some designs he likes the look of so were off in search of some decent transfer paper to print and iron onto clothes today - then when I'm all skinny looking I can design my own shirts etc - then ill be all skinny and unique lol

Okay cut to the chase - food this week - im going to cut down on portion sizes and snack more (on fruit and veg) and I really need to make sure I'm having my 3rd super free as at the moment I'm having a full evening meal and just squeezing some veg on the side and am too full to eat the veg lol so less of the free food and more of the super free this week

Today's meals looks like this:

Breakfast bowl of grapefruit and 1 Alpenlight bar

Lunch is likely to either be couscous and some mini quiches (will be making today) or samosas (will be making today (Jo I'll take pics of these to show you)

Dinner is serloin steak with chips (2syn) and veg + mushrooms pepper sauce (2 syn)

Snacks if needed: celery, carrot stocks, tomatoes, apples oranges kiwi)

But will only eat when I'm hungry not just cause I'm bored

Aiming high for that 5lb this week
I'm currently behind quite largely on my race to 3stone with my dad - he's 5lbs away and I'm 10!!!
So ifI can bag this 5 this week and see what happens - he weighs on a Friday though so has an advantage as I recon he might need another 3 weeks if he averages a 1-2 loss which is about right for him although he does slip in a sneaky 3 sometimes - so if I can get 5 this week - maybe a real push for 3 the next week and then a final 2 - I could pip him to the post (do you see what i mean about being a little bit competitive lol!!)

What happens now is we chill :D Or in my case..........drink :giggle:

Recipies that say 'serves 4' do make me laugh because they only serve 2 in my world  lol Still, 4 syns is ok :D Not making it today because it's my weekly green day............

How did you hurt your back anyway?

She told me she's been swinging from the chandelier and jumping off the top of the wardrobe again Rozie, only she called it 'bedroom athletics' :giggle:

No idea at all! lol

Yeah, yeah............chandelier and wardrobe :giggle:

That sounds like a load of fun Emmey :D I might suggest doing one of those to my friends tonight..........I'll suggest it afer they've downed their first bottle and they're feeling 'relaxed' :D :giggle:

Good idea Batman :D My portions are a tad large (plate like a dustbin lid :giggle:) but they are nearly always 1/2 - 3/4 veg......I adore veg. Infact I could eat a plate full of veg and nowt else! lol
