A Student Food Diary

I thought keeping a food diary might encourage me not to go off the scale when I syn as sharing my current binges with people would be very embarrassing! I have done slimming world in the past and lost 2st 12lbs but I'm officially starting again. Is there anyone else that hates telling people they're on a diet? Stupid when you actually think about as getting healthy is definitely a good thing!

I try to keep my daily intake of syns to a minimum as I often have to save up most of them for alcohol (hence the name of the thread... student).

I also exercise alot (everyday) which can sometimes play tricks with my mind telling me that it's absolutely fine to eat lots more than I would if I wasn't exercising. Silly but I'm getting over it.

Monday 13.08.12

Breakfast
- 1 weetabix (3 syns) with small amount of skimmed milk (part of HEA)
- Tangerine

Lunch
- Homemade chicken and veg soup
- Mullerlight mint choc
- Apple
- Banana

Dinner
- Homemade spaghetti bolognese
- Lots of spinach and peas
- Blueberries with natural low fat yoghurt

Snacks
- 2 Alpen light bars (HEB)

Drinks
- Tea, Coffee and water. Only small amounts of milk used (HEA)

Extra Syns
- Small bite of boyfriend's desert. (He definitely does not need to diet - jealous!) 2 syns

Total syns: 5
 
Good luck. I've been going to slimmimg world for a while now but was only in last couple months that I actually tried and started losing weight :) good thing is you don't really hav to tell anyone you're on diet cause it's all regular food. How much do you have to lose? I think I have about 2 left now x
