Hi

I am on my second week of sw and will find out tomorrow how much have lost, only lost 1/2 lb in first week!!
Am wondering if anyone has done sw then moved to ww and found it better, im struggling with meal ideas as things are free but then if for example i have cereal i cant have bread unless I use syns and that can use syns all day, with ww I believe everything is oik as long as its pointed so just after some advice and opinions really please

Thanks in advance

I did SW and lost a total of about 11lbs.... In about 1.5months. Felt very restricted

I've been doing WW and have lost 20.5lbs in about 4 months. And love it.

I honestly do. I can have the convenience of WW products (tho rarely do because many normal supermarket products are just the same points values). I can track my food intake electronically. I can eat meals out (Nandos main, side and dessert 16pp!!)

I am not slating SW cos it DOES work. But so does WW. Neither will offer a quick fix. You need to work out which would suit your lifestyle better!

Congrats on your weightloss so far and good luck :) xx

Oh and as for bread/cereal debate on SW - hated That!!!

On WW I can have bread and cereal whenever I want :) pointed of course lol but there's no limit to what you can have you aren't restricted by original and green days!

I lost 2stone on slimming world but I found it so hard to keep up with my busy life. I leave my house at 6am and rarely get in before 8pm this making cooking from scratch a nightmare. I love the concept of SW bit being able to track WW points on my phone is so much easier and I feel less restricted with treats etc. xxx

thanks for the replies i managed to lose 3 lbs but still unsure wether to stick or swap lol

Well if you like SW then stick. If you don't then swap. But don't do it based on your weight loss do it based on your ability to commit to and stick to a diet for a long period of time. I have been on WW since January and am still on it. I feel off the wagon for a month or so and gained only 4lb during that time and in just two weeks ive lost that now that I have my commitment back again!

Only you can make the decision but above all big congrats on your weightloss so far!!

If you don't want to point things on WW then there is an inbetween to WW propoints and SW.... I think it's call Simply Filling. Where u can eat lots of "simply filling foods" and only
Point the foods that aren't (like SW with their free foods and syns). Xx

Thanksf or the advice, I think its just difficult to decide on meals as if I have toast ie as ahealthy extra then I have to use up syns if I want a sandwich whereas on ww I can just count points, theres a simple example of my dilemma lol, but then again with ww counting everything may be more time consuming.
I just dont know right now I am surprised Im on week 3 although I am ready to cave in lol
x

hi hun as bugsbunny said there is the simply filling plan where you have a list of food that u can eat without having to count it and u get 49 weekly pp's to use for things like sauces, choc etc the free food includes ww bread, ww bagels, ww petit pains ww wraps & CRUMPETS believe it or not & cereals are oats, shredded wheat & puffed wheat, there is a thread on here going into more detail, the thing i love about ww is that i can have my cereal for brekkie then petit pains at lunch no weighing just eating till satisfied. good luck whatever u choose to do x

wow the ww products are free ( well some of them?) Thats interesting to know, if I did I think I would join online rather than class.
Im definately considering it but as said earlier I just need to work out which one fits best into my life. I like the idea the ww has their convenience foods that are already pointed too... Oh its a lot to think about :) ive never lasted long on diets but this time I am determind thats why I want to find one that will work and be easyish for me
Thanks everyone xx
