Need to eat more fruit & veg next week & have a bit more variety but this week husband has cooked meals that serve 4 & has put the other 2 portions in the freezer so we’ll be having them for tea next week. No cooking for him just microwaving.

Snacks: Strawbs, cherries, pear, wafer thin chicken, Cheetos, 3.5 & lentil chips, 3.5

Got blueberries, cherries, plums, pears, Strawbs & apples to snack on this week

Morning snack: Strawbs & cherries

Lunch: 2 portobello mushrooms & 1 x 25g slice of emmental cheese. Healthy extra. Should have added chopped tomatoes, mixed herbs & works better with mozarella.

Afternoon snack: wafer thin chicken, strawbs & an apple.

Dinner: Chicken satay contains yellow & orange peppers & boiled rice. 5 syns for the peanut butter.

After dinner: White choc kvarg. Half a syn

Total syns 5.5

Breakfast; Blueberries & a plum

Morning snack: apple & a plum

Lunch: Chicken & mushroom pasta n sauce 68g pot (1 syn)

Afternoon snack: wafer thin chicken
Was gonna have a pear but took 1 bite & discovered it was rock hard!

Dinner: Pepperoni & mince pasta bake, recipe serves 4. Contains healthy extra a of mozarella & reduced fat cheddar. Mushroom & a red pepper.

Hubby put 2 syns per person of pepperoni in, next time we’re gonna double the pepperoni. It was delicious. I love a pasta bake proper comfort food. I love my carbs!

After dinner treat: aero mousse, 4.5 syns
Loving this choc hit.

Fluid: Diet lemo, pepsi max, no added sugar vimto cordial. I actually drank some water!

Thursday 15th August

Breakfast:
mini weetabix & semi skimmed milk

Morning snack:
strawbs, blueberries & plum

Lunch: tuna with 2.5 level tablespoons of light mayo, 5 syns & not enough mayo. Won’t be having tuna mayo again! Had it with some boiled potatoes served cold.

Dinner: Paella containing yellow & orange pepper, leeks, chorizo 4.5 syns & cut up king prawns & cut up seafood sticks with paella rice.

Fluid: Diet lemo & Pepsi max

Total syns 9.5. I think the scales may increase further tomorrow as I only lose when having 8 syns or less. I will not be happy. Light mayo to blame. Pity I don’t like the lighter than light mayo.

Friday 16th August

Weighed in at 19st 4lbs
1.4lbs off. Disappointed as I was
19st 2.8lbs on Monday 12th Aug.

Breakfast:
mini weetabix & semi skimmed milk

Lunch: 1 grillled portobello mushroom with chopped tomatoes & 25g slice of emmental

Snack: strawbs & strawb & yoghurt swirled lolly 2.5 syns

Dinner: reduced fat sausage & bean casserole contains 3 sausages per person, peppers, mixed beans, baked beans & 4 slices chorizo per person. 4 syns in total

Fluid: diet lemo & Pepsi max

Lunch: low fat curry super noodles, 2 syns
Snack: Pear & 2 plums,
aero mousse 4.5 syns
Dinner: Tomato pasta n sauce 1 syn

Breakfast: Raspberry Kvarg. 0.5 syn

Morning snack:
Salt & vinegar lentil chips, 3.5 syns

Lunch: Sainsbury’s Moroccan cous cous
I was unsure of the syn value & thought it would be ok if I left the cranberries. Found out it’s 7.5 syns. Too high for my liking to have again. Continued to syn unintentionally had some mini chicken satay. 3 syns for 12 but I had a big pack, not good.

Afternoon snack: Seafood sticks

Pre dinner snack: mini weetabix with arla virtually fat free skimmed milk (tastes like semi skimmed) Had to get healthy extra a & b in. Only manage to get 1 heathy extra a in some days so I’m taking a vitamin d with calcium tablet daily.

Dinner: SW chicken tikka rogan josh ready meal

Fluid: Mango Pepsi max

Total syns: in excess of 14.5

Expecting a gain on the scales tomorrow

Tuesday 20th August

Put 2.5lbs on from having probably over 15 syns yesterday. Won’t be nipping to Sainsbury’s local again for my work lunch.

Breakfast: Mini weetabix with arla virtually fat free skimmed milk (tastes like semi skimmed)

Snack: Lentil chips (3.5)

12 o’clock Lunch:
Tomato & herb pasta n sauce (1)

Snack: Aero choc mousse (4.5)

4pm meal: SW Beef Tagliatelle contains carrot, mushroom & spinach. I remove the cherry tomatoes because they’re my worse food (slimey)

8pm dinner: Fast 800 simple veg pie (no pastry recipe) contains aubergine, courgette, red pepper & cauliflower, topped with grated parmesan (2nd healthy extra a)

Fluid: Diet lemo & Mango pepsi max

Wednesday 21st August

Got 2 pounds off out of the 2.4 lbs I put on.

8am Breakfast: Raspberry Kvarg (0.5)

9.30 Morning snack:

11:30 snack: Chargrilled mini chicken fillets

1pm Lunch: SW paella ready meal. Didn’t enjoy. Won’t be buying again. Been spoilt with hubby’s paella

Dinner: SW prawn linguine ready meal
Lacked flavour, but I’m used to the heat from the chilli in Tesco’s finest, which probably has loads of syns in the sauce. Gonna ask hubby to make this next time & put a small amount of Kashmiri mild chilli flakes in.

After dinner: Pear, mini weetabix & arla virtually fat free skimmed milk. Healthy extra a & b.

Dinner: Took 1 bite of the chicken in the SW chicken tikka masala ready meal & didn’t like it. It was rubbery. I’m a very fussy eater, so had a SW lasagne ready meal instead. Should have had some veg with it but had none in.
