Hi guys, I thought I'd take the plunge and write a food diary!
I started SW 4 weeks ago but have only lost a pound (sob!).
But to be fair I haven't got loads to lose - I'd like to lose a stone in total. Also, I've been having the same breakfast (All Bran with ss milk) for the last few years EVERY DAY so consultant said to try different things, so today for the first time in years I didn't have all bran
It was scary lol! But I've bought in loads of nice new cereals today from the HE-B choices so I'm actually quite excited to try different things!
Also - I've been doing extra easy but I'd like to throw in some red and green days but I can't get my head around them right now. So if anyone wants to let me know how I could adapt any of my daily meals to make them red or green I'd be ever so grateful! Or maybe they already fit into red/green days

Here's hoping for a 3lb loss next week!

42g All bran
Semi skimmed milk
Glass of water
Dinner
Large baked potato, frylight, 2 tsp light margarine (2 syns), half tin of baked beans, green salad, m&s sweet chilli chicken mixed with 0 fat natural yogurt and sweetcorn
Sugar free orange cordial
Tea
Pasta, 1.5 tbsn light pesto (3 syns), green beans, potato and salad
Can of fanta zero
TOTAL syns = 5
Wednesday 15th June
Extra Easy
B: All bran (HE-B) and ss milk (HE-A)
D: Small-medium baked potato, frylight, 2 tsp light margarine (2 syns), half tin of baked beans, green salad, home made waldorf salad (just apple, celery, natural 0 fat yogurt, lemon juice and cinnamon)
T: Jamie Olivers peri peri chicken with reduced fat feta cheese (3 syns) potatoes and salad
Snack: Apple, half a melon, slice of scan bran cake
Drinks: 3 glasses of water, can of fanta zero and glass of sugar free orange cordial
Syns: olive oil in Jamie olivers peri peri chicken = 3
Feta cheese = 3
Scan bran cake = 1
TOTAL syns = 7
Thursday 16th June
Extra Easy
B: Oats (HE-B) with 0 fat natural yogurt and banana (yuk – won’t be having this again! But you've got to try these things..)
D: Beans, bacon, scrambled eggs (2 eggs with a dash of ss milk), mushrooms
T: Jamie Olivers peri peri chicken with feta cheese (HE-A) potatoes and salad
Snack: Ryvita wholegrain crackerbread with marmite (2nd part of HE-B), Melon
Drinks: 3 glasses of water, can of fanta zero and glass of sugar free orange cordial
Syns: olive oil in Jamie olivers peri peri chicken = 3
Really recommend Jamie Olivers peri peri chicken recipe - its from his 30 minute meal book. But I'm sure you can find it online by a bit of googling
In fact there's a few good SW meals in this book - so tasty too!
Going to try weetabix crunchy bran for breaky tomo, maybe with a bit of fruit?!
