Anna's WW journey

hey Anna, wait til new year to get your stuff - its being spread out over the weeks this month, so you would have to pay for the full month to get all the pack pieces xxx

Well, everyone has their tipping point and you took a real long time to reach yours - so well done on holding out for so long

Glad to hear that the men in your life seem to be turning a corner.

You have had it really tough over the last couple of weeks....you will be exhausted too.

Wouldn't be surprised if all the running around/stress etc means that you still get a loss...often happens as your heart is racing and you burn more calories (not advocating stress as a diet tool mind you!)

love and hugs. xx

Hi Anna glad your OH and son r finally on the mend. Hope yr daughter is ok soon. Good idea on giving up WW online and the going for one WW meeting :)

Take care hun, hope you can get some "me" time for yourself real soon xxx

Thanks everyone, I'm looking forward to 2009 as this year has been really rotten all round.

Thank you. My daughters problems will take a while to resolve. She is not my birth child but as much my daughter as my toddler is my son, it's just she came 'ready made' as she puts it and after seeing everything I went through to have her brother she has decided 'ready made' is clearly the way to go ;) :8855: (I can't say anymore in an open forum). She is dealing with a lot & is rather lost, I feel for her desperatly & wish I could make it all better for her. One thing I do know is that she is going to grow in to an amazing young woman, it's just going to be a rather bumpy ride getting there.

On a more festive note, our Christmas decorations are finally going up today :bliss: We made lots of snowflakes to go on the windows yesterday but there's nothing like getting the tree up to make things more festive :D

I'm still not counting points yet, I'm going to wait until Monday when my husband goes back to work :)

Do you think they will always do this to make sure they at least get people going for a few weeks?

Anna, so sorry things have been manic for you. You must be so exhausted. I think you have done amazingly! We are all here for you. xxx

Thank you :) I feel exhausted from the inside out, very drained but life goes on & others have it sooooo much harder, I know I have a lot to be thankful for :) Roll on Christmas I say :D:D:D

It feels strange this morning, I'm sat here on my own as everyone else is still asleep, unheard of in this house! My toddler is normally up by 6am at the latest. He has been sleeping a lot more, reminds me of when he had glandular fever the first half of this year. He's lost loads of weight over the last week & he was skinny to begin with bless him.

hope you and the family are doing okay - take care of yourself xxx

Big hugs. Hope you have a lovely weekend
Irene x

Thank you :)

I'm just shattered from doing all the festive stuff without all the extra stress you are dealing with. my heart goes out to you. you are doing amazingly

Thank you, although the diet has gone out the window this week, round the block & off to another town ;) I am 100% going back to counting points on Monday. I might not WI on Monday, not sure I really need to know & it might not be helpful to me. This is one thing I love about doing ww at home, in the past if I was going to meeting & hit a rough patch I wouldn't go back as I wouldn't want to face a weigh in. At home I feel much more in control & know I can get back on track.

hope you and the family are doing okay - take care of yourself xxx

Thank you :) We have had a fun morning putting up the Christmas tree etc. It's not quite finished yet but it's looking a lot more festive here now :D We have paper chains to make later & the snowflakes to put up at the windows & a few other little finishing touches, then we will no doubt collapse in a heap & enjoy the X Factor final this evening :D

Sounds like you and your family having a lovely time putting up the xmasdeco. Have a lovely weekend hun.

Glad things seem to be settling down for you - you will soon get back to WW when you feel ready. Take care.

Hey Anna - fingers crossed for a STS this week. Hardly unexpected that you would struggle with everything that's going on.

Rach is right, best to wait for new year to go to class and pick up as much swag as you can (although is the new info not available online for people who are online members?) Plus there will probably be free membership vouchers in the press in the new year as well so will save yourself some cash x

Big hugs hunny to you and all your family :grouphugg: Make sure you make time for you to relax with everything you have going on in your life. Take care xxx

Thank you for all your messages, you really know how to prop someone up when they need it :thankyou:

Whilst there has been a fair bit of stress flying round we have all actually managed to have quite a good weekend :) It was fun getting the decorations up, just the paper chains left to do now. We had quite a lazy morning watching really rubbish Christmas movies, great fun! LOL We went shopping this afternoon, not for Christmas but just a few things we needed. I was surprised as I though the shops would be busier but it was just like any other weekend.

My toddler is still poorly, sleeping lots but quite happy in himself. My daughter is determined to make life harder for herself but will work out one day she doesn't need to (I think it took me until I was in my 20's ;):)). It's hard having those hormones flying around on top of everything else bless her, just as well I have a thick skin & an endless amount of patience & tolerance when it comes to my children

My husband is back to work tomorrow. I must admit I'm glad, he's been quite a grump as he's not good at doing little so the sooner he's occupied again the better.

And me, I'm actually feeling pretty good :) Christmas is round the corner, everyone is getting healthier. I adore my children & can't wait to see their faces on Christmas day when they open their presents (I'm more excited than they are :D) Diet wise this week as been a disaster but at the same time I think it will prove a success, that I can have a bad food week & still get back on track & carry on to lose this weight. I'm feeling really positive & have just told everyone that I'm back on WW tomorrow so back to healthy eating then. I am not going to WI tomorrow as I really don't need to know, instead I'm going to get back on track tomorrow & hope that I can still make my Christmas goal

Well done Anna and soundsl like you have Christmas totally under control

I wish you could give me endless patience with my kids (well, my daughter really....too much like me. Sons are easy peasy lemon squeezy)

Might be worth having a look at the "damage" tomorrow cos then at least you will know how much eating there is in xlbs weight gain...and you never know, it might not be very much at all.

Rosie xx
