Anyone in the 10's wanting to get into the 9's........

So what's your final target? 9st 7lb or 9st?

My fella loves cheese but he can't just cut a chunk off and eat it - I bloody can! ?

Kettlebells are supposed to be one of the best workouts. I have a bell and a DVD but I'm in the middle of moving and in temp accommodation so they're in storage at the mo. Besides, my bell is 5kg and it's too light for me now. How often do you plan to do it? I'm getting out running again as I've got a 10k in July which I've got to build up towards again x

My target is actually 9stone 4lbs only because it works out to be 130lbs and I have a thing about the number 13 it's just one of my odd things lol

I really couldn't eat cheese like that at all, couldn't even bite into it!

I'm planning on starting tonight and doing it 3x a week then hopefully using my treadmill on other days. Aw that's great have u ran a 10k before? I done one last year for charity, really enjoyed it.

Hahaha! Well, we all have our reasons for our goals! ?

The 10k I did was for charity. I wouldn't say I enjoyed it as it was 28 degrees or something stupid! It was so hard but I still did my personal best. At the time I said to my mate that I wouldn't do it again, but here we are! Haha! I really enjoyed the run last night if I'm honest, so looking forward to more runs. I plan to go out tomorrow and do a little further. If you do the bells and running, you'll reach your goal in no time! How much do you have to lose? X

Yea I know it's odd but means if i aim for 9stone 4lbs then I'd have a buffer so as long as I stayed within 9stone and 9stone 7lbs.

Aw that's great u enjoyed it, do you run to music or anything? How often you planning on running?

That's me done cardio week 1, wasn't as bad as I was expecting so pleased with that. Core on Thursday. Got 20lbs to lose so aiming for 1lb a week :D

Yeah I run with my iPhone listening to music. I did have one of those armband holder things, but I think it must be packed up in storage because I can find it. So having to bloody hold it in my hand. Quite annoying! I plan to run 3 times a week for now to get my strength back up and then see about increasing it to 4 days. I'm going to go out tonight even though my legs are still aching from Monday!

Well done on the completion :) It always makes you feel so good once it's over with. Shame they can't bottle that feeling!! x

That must be annoying having your things in storage then going hunting for it. 3 times a week is good, that will get your strength up in no time at all. How far did you run on Monday?

I know wish they could bottle that feeling so it would give you the motivation to start exercising in the first place :D

Well I've just come back from 5.42k run. Monday I did 4.37k. I feel really good :) today's was hard because my legs were still aching from Mondays run but I really wanted to work out a route which pushed me to the 5k mark. I plan to go again Friday but will see how my legs are... Could well be on the weekend.

I plan to do those kinds of distances for the next couple of weeks, then I'll increase it a bit each time. x

That's great well done Mets! Glad you pushed yourself even with sore legs and beat your distance on Monday. You have plenty of time to build your distance up so no need to rush it.

Haven't done any exercise tonight, feel totally drained so just relaxing and I'll do kettleworx again tomorrow.

Morning :) Thanks hun... my legs aren't nearly as achy this morning as they were after Mondays run. So shows they must be getting stronger. I'm glad I pushed myself.

I think it's important to have a break, so that's good you had an evening off to relax. You can get going again tonight! I wanted to buy the Kettleworx but I just couldn't justify the money. Do you think it's worth the money?

Hope you have a good day! x

Hi! Your legs probably needed a good stretch as well so your run would help take away the ache. When you planning your next run for now that your legs aren't as sore?

Feel better today so probably just needed a night doing nothin to get my energy back. I've only done one night of kettleworx so far and I did enjoy it. Noticed that Argos have it for £50 but I got mine off eBay for just under £30 so it really would be worth your while checking that if you still want the DVD.

Glad there's only one more day of work, hope u had a nice day x

Hiya! Day has been good today :) Ive just made a vegetable lasagne for my dinner tomorrow and Saturday, so looking forward to that. I was planning on having some BNS chips with it. If smells divine and I must stop myself from picking at it! :D

I think you're right about my legs. They still don't really ache now. There's a little ache but nothing to complain about. I plan to go out for another run tomorrow. As long as its not too cold though, as it was the cold that set off my asthma attack last November and that was just after a walk! The weather is set to turn cold here so I'll just play it by ear.

You got a bargain on the Kettleworxs! I'll perhaps have A look at them again when I finally move and get settled. I can then dust my bell off too. Have you completed any exercise today?? How has your day gone? x

Sounds lovely, stop picking at it you will enjoy it even more when you sit down to eat it properly! funnily enough I had lasagne too with mushy peas. Was delish and have 1 point left which I may use on a yogurt tonight lol

That's good you next run is planned, are you meant to be getting snow this weekend? We're cold the now but had really thick fog this morning which didn't really lift till home time!

Yea was a bargain compared to what I'd have to pay, there was a few people selling at the same time but I just went for the one ending soonest. Going to do my workout now, week 1 core here I come :D x

Damn! Just posted a long reply and it crashed! Grrrrr

Yeah we're due snow from Friday night I think then all over the weekend. Where do you live? It was real foggy here this morning too - it was something like a horror film when I left the house as it was still pitch black too. Spooooooky! :D

How many points are mushy peas? I quite fancy some now you've mentioned them.

Good luck with the workout! Let me know how you get on. Oh and when's your WI? x

Hate when that happens, my app keeps playing up and when I go into a thread the posts are just blank.

Still a bit unsure if we're getting snow, one weather forecast says yes then another is no, just got to be prepared either way. Stay in Glasgow, wasn't fun this morning driving to work in the fog while trying to avoid the potholes.

I just had 1/2 a tin of the asda smartprice mushy pees which is 1 of your 5 a day and works out at 4 points so it adds quite a bit onto your plate.

Done core week 1 tonight and I really enjoyed it, roll on resistance week 1 on Saturday. My WI day is Wednesday how about u? X

Crikey, we're at other ends of the country yet both due snow! :D

Well done on the workout and the fact that you enjoyed it means you're likely to stick at it! So you do different kind of workouts depending on the day?

My WIs are Tuesdays at around lunchtime. X

I know it's mad! To be fair we didn't get much snow before Christmas so hopefully it's not just all saved up for now :(

When I went to class it was Wednesday around 7pm but stopped going to class because I just wasn't getting anything from it so it's now Wednesday morning after I wake up.

Theres 3 DVDs (cardio, core and resistance) and lasts 6 weeks. Each DVD has 6 different sections for each week you are on so each week you do three completely different routines which is great as I won't get bored like with the 30 day shred :D

You doing anything other than running? X

Gosh that really will keep you occupied and you won't get bored! I've for the 30DS but once again, it's on storage lol bloody moving is annoying!!!

No not doing much else other than running. I had a go at Davinas new app on Sunday which wasn't bad so might do that again this weekend. I struggle with motivation when it comes to at home exercise.

I've not been for my run this evening. It's real cold here and I'm worried about my chest so going to go either tomorrow or Sunday during the day when it's a bit warmer.

How's your day been? x

When do you move? How long has your things been in temporary storage for?

I seen her on the one show the other night and it was showing clips of her DVD was the app any good with it being on a small screen? I'm just sticking with kettlebells, don't want to put myself off everything.

Think it's not going to get much warmer to be honest. I know how you feel about your asthma, I haven't been on inhalers for about 10 years then took a really bad cold so got put on inhalers and I've to keep taking them to at least march incase the cold causes another attack :(

My day was busy but good, one of my workmates is in hospital so I'm covering the majority of his work too. How about u? X

Not sure of an exact date that I'm moving yet. Hopefully will be on 10th March. We're basically transferring jobs up to Sheffield. My fella has a start date of 25th Feb and I've been told mine is 11th march but just waiting for my contract. Nightmare! We've been in temp accommodation since beginning of December.

I've suffered with asthma all my life. I was really ill with it when I was little but then I thought I had grown out of it, because I hadn't had an attack for years but then I got a cold a couple of months ago and had one :( was horrible. So now I'm scared of it returning when I go out in the cold (of was the cold weather in November after walking home from work that set it off).

Davinas app on my phone isn't too bad actually. Once you've seen what moves you need to do, you don't really need to watch it as there's a beeper that lets you know when to start and stop that move to go on to the next. Quite good actually.

Today I'm really hungry. I've got such a hankering for some chocolate but it means I'd have to dip into my AP. I've already eaten my WP (used them up at the beginning of the week. Ooooops!). Its because I have my period and I always get the munchies :( I managed to put the cravings off last night but they're back again now. Arrrrrgh!! X

That's not too far away, fingers crossed it flies I for u and hopefully you get your contract sorted! I still stay with my dad, mum, brother and my dog Holly lol far too spoiled :p

Could you not have grown out of it and your asthma attack was just a one off like mine is? Especially when you've went through other winters without any attacks? I think I got diagnosed when I was 2 grew out of it in secondary school then took an attack in November so back on the inhalers till March.

Might have a wee look at the app then to see what its like. Haven't done my DVD today will do it tomorrow but took holly a walk last night with the bf then another walk today so I'll catch up.

Aw that's a shame I hate having weeks like that, got mine to look forward to next week. Did you end up having some chocolate? I'm just about to have pie, chips and beans for dinner then still got 38 WP for this weekend so doing quite well this week.

You got any plans for this weekend? No snow yet!! Xxx
