Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

I've decided to give myself yet another challenge!!! Its 8 weeks until my *0th birthday & would love to be feeling as fit & healthy as I possible can & you all know love a challenge. So, I've set up a weekly diary on my signature to keep a record of it so you can , hopefully, see my progress. I will also measure myself today, in 4 weeks & then at the end. Ideally I would like to be at 8st 7lbs, but if Im not Im not too bothered about that, as long as there is progress in my fitness & shrinkage in the adipose department lol!
I intend to incorporate powerwalking, situps, Tabata & cycling into my week, but there can be no set regime as I do mainly nights & will just do what I can, when I can.......bring it on!

I will join you on an 8 week challenge kim. My dress fitting is 8 weeks today and my hen do is 7 weeks today! I want to be as close to 9 6 as possible by then. I have 16.5lbs to go!

me too. between jillian Michael walking and my work gym i will join you..measure tom as i have major hangover today and have every intention of eating what i want. in fact my challenge will be all of the above but my end goal will be to complete couch to 5k. this will allow me to start and improve my running. good for us lol

Don't know if I mentioned but our internet has been down since Thursday, finally got it back up and running :) feel lost without it, I know we have it on our phone's but its not the same.

Getting very nervous about tomorrow now, but still looking forward to it. I will enjoy it!!! Just got my coffee cake out of the oven, going to ice it when little one's back as we're just settling down to some game of thrones now, it looks gorgeous (even if I do say so myself) think I'll struggle waiting for tomorrow to have a slice, its a good job I can't take a slice without ruining the look of it :) WI on Tuesday won't be good, but will be back on it after this week. (well on it today and will be back on it on Monday to be fair)

Donna I bet your so excited for the run and dont worry about what you eat tomorrow. Its mummys day its meant for celebrating you :)
 
Yay ladies, well done on joining me in a challenge! Are you going to put your details onto your signature like I have? Maybe we should report in daily as well to say what we've done as well as a weekly record. I intend to do some form of exercise 5/6 times per week, work permitting.
Today, I've done a 2.5 mile Powerwalk, Tabata cycling....nearly killed me lol! & 150 sit ups.

Oooh poor Deb on the hangover, those munchies are not good for the waistline, but very much needed! As long as you enjoyed your drinkies thats all that matters!

Good luck for your run tomorrow Donna & really hope the weather's OK for you. Most of all enjoy it.
 
Weather is going to be rubbish Kim lol, well according to the weather anyway lol, just above freezing and raining, possibly snow! But we're going prepared, mum's got some poncho's which we can run in (guessing we'll have to hold them if we decide to take them off) and we're both taking hot drinks in our flasks so we can have a nice hot drink after, I can't decide between coffee or hot chocolate, think I'll just see what I fancy in the morning. It might get me round quicker if its horrible lol, although I am pacing myself, me and mum are going to run it together and she has her garmin to make sure we don't run too fast, once I've trained more I think I'll try and get quicker times, but tomorrow I just want to finish it and more importantly just enjoy it.

Got my mothers day presents early as they weren't sure if we'd be up in time, also one of them was a backpack with a bladder in, so they wanted to make sure I had it for tomorrow.

Very tempted by domino's tonight but was strong and made tuna pasta bake instead.... was very close to having it though

oh think i was still tipsy when i signed up lol...just kidding..i have been so bad lately food wise its bordering on obscene so i am more than ready to begin the challenge. maybe tom but def Monday. can you access signature via phone?

You can do it Deb, as we all seem to do really well with a challenge.
No you cant access the signatures on phone you will need to go on your computer & go onto the main site

I received a lovely card from my Stepson & DIL from Abu Dhabi, card from my DH & a card from my furry babies with some money to get some eyelash enhancements.
My Mum came up on Friday & we're off to DH's workplace as he's laid on a brief for all the Mums who's sons are away in Afghan & we're having a lunch & then a demo from one of the top chocolate scientist in the world......with freebies lol! Might be an off plan day for me today if I cant manage to resist!

Hoping t get to between 9 stone and 9 stone 4 depending how i feel about how i look. In 53 weeksn 3 1/2 stone loss im now happy for 1llb a week n anything more is a bonus xxx

I have eaten so much today but I feel I've earnt it, finished my half in just over 2 hours (still waiting on official results) I was so proud at around 11 miles I actually started thinking OMG I'm going to do this and actually started not bothering about what time I finished in... then my mum said if we carried on at the pace we were at we would do it in around 2 hours so I kept going but still wasn't too fussed (I was shocked we'd done that well though) So proud of myself :)
 
Morning ladies. I feel horrendous today. My shoulder is giving me so much trouble at the moment. I cant sleep cos of it. Going on friday to see if im having surgery or not. I had an ultra sound on it last week n they said the muscle is getting stuck in the bone :-S
Anyways weigh in day for me today. Im my scales r right I have lost a lb but I doubt that very much with what I have eaten this week and I only did 1 3/4 fast days lol. Will have to wait and see tonight.
