Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

I know, its just a bit of a pain as means we have to wait until at least Monday now to get it sorted. I know we're not in a major rush but would be nice to get it back so we could fill all the passport details online and know that its sorted then. Also means having to pop out again, little one was not impressed by having to go lol.

Little one was really funny to be fair, we told him if we didn't go then me and him would have to go for two weeks on our own and he replied with ''awww two weeks, I don't want this holiday I just want the other one'' once we got home he admitted he does want this one and can't wait for it, he just didn't want to go out.

Passports are a nightmare aren't they, we're quite lucky in that all of ours expire at different times, which is a pain in one sense as we have to keep an eye on when they run out, but then it does mean we don't have a massive bill getting 3 new passports at a time.
 
Morning ladies

Had the busiest day yesterday I had the day off work to make jess another birthday cake she was having her birthday party last night after school.
I took them for tea in a local cafe instead of KFC/McDonald's girls you'll be dead proud of me I offered them all either a panni jacket pot or ham sandwich I had j. Pot cheese/beans/side salad (loads of cheese,but hey on plan) the girls loved it and the lady had decorated the little room it was lovely and much more personal than a fast food place, and she let us have the birthday cake too and joined in happy birthday allthe staff did jess loved it :))
We then went to a makeover photoshoot it was fab the girls had their hair done some had loose curls some straightened and then make up and got to choose outfits they went for a festival look so had flowers in their hair and straw hats they all looked gorgeous she took about 75 photos
When they ready I'll post them on fb (if you want to see them pm me,) wont post on here cause of the other girls on them, was such a lovely evening :) they all looked so grown up.

I will update food on my diary funny day didn't really eat till the cafe but did have 2 glasses of wine ... will work out syns and hopefully its all within plan... But I did resist all the nibbles that were offered just telling hubby they didn't even cross my radar wasn't hungry so didn't eat love this feeling :)))) x

great choices on the food as well. you are doing great. are you not weighing weekly but monthly? i was going to do monthly but curiosity of my new scales is taking over ha

first day of 100% done yay!! didn't even bother with the wine but had kinder bar at 70 cals x

Donna me n other half had an argument about my passport cos it doesnt run out for 5 years and I refuse to pay for a new one just to change my name!

I planned on getting up at 8 this morning and doing some exercise before the ss arrives yet I've just woken up to his mum banging on the door. Opps!
 
So im gonna do a mixture of dvds I think.
Ss let me do a dvd while he tried on his new holiday clothes. Wanted to do jm 6w6p but it hasn't downloaded onto the harddrive properly so I did insanity cardio abs. My core is on fire!!!

Cake looks amazing, I always make little one's cake but never looks anything near that standard. Well done on the food as well, brilliant day all round :)

The cafe sounds like a great idea instead of a fast food chain, much more personal.

I agree with you on the passport thing, I wouldn't change mine until its due, you just need to remember to book holidays under your maiden name... luckily wouldn't cause an arguement with me and my boyfriend when we get to that point as he's money minded so wouldn't want to waste £80 either lol.




Had a fab run this morning and just waiting for my boyfriend to finish cooking my lunch, salmon omelette and beans yum yum!

Well we spoke to the travel agents and they said it was ok n just to take the wedding certificate.

Are you not on your honeymoon?
 
Ahhh fair enough, obviously not done it myself but my sister is just getting hers changed now as she's due a new one (she got married in 2008) but has just booked holidays under her old name
 
I didn't change mine right away n when Simon complained I said fine n changed it but I made him pay for my passport. If only had it 6 months when we got married so didn't see why I should pay for new one. Plus it's his name so I said he should feel honoured I'm changing my name lol
 
I've just been looking about changing mine. Can't decide what to do. Won't do my passport though - waste of money! In my honeymoon now... weather is amazing and food is it of this world although am going to pay for it when I get home!! Do you ladies feel weird about changing your name??
 
I'll be changing my name when I get married, only problem with me is little one also has my name, but would consider when he was older giving him the option of changing it as well, if he wanted to. I don't think its weird to change it, but I know someone who's said she wouldn't change her name when they got married but would give kids his name. I think its a personal thing
 
I changed my name, almost 10yrs ago now!!

My mum came with me yesterday for my laser eye surgery and she called me by my maiden name to nurse! They didn't know who she was talking about lol.
My surgery went great and now I can see! I'm delighted with the outcome. I should have done it years ago.
 
I love been called something else. The only thing is is that me n my sisters are the last with our name in our family as my dad was the only boy n theres just me n my sisters so the name is gonna die out!
