It's lovely that you have those memories though, its so clear to see how much you love her when you talk about her. I really hope I have that bond with our little guy (looking like we're going boy as boyfriend is tight and doesn't want to pay extra for a girl only to have to then pay extra to have her spayed) but little one has a favourite already and he's a boy, so if when they're up and playing a bit more he seems happy and healthy and likes us we might go for him anyway.

Going to weigh on a Friday yes Kim and hopefully my scales will be here by Friday :/ I thought they'd be here by now.... if they don't come by Friday I'll weigh when I get them and then start Friday WI's


Little one's open evening tonight, looking forward to speaking to his new teacher and seeing how he's getting on, his last teacher loved him (seriously I think if I offered she would have adopted him lol) but he seems to really like this new one as well he got a brill report,

Just wondered what you guys thought, these are the pups (the tiny one died last weekend but he was very poorly) Mack loves the light brown one at the bottom.... we're thinking at the moment its between him and the dark brown one on the left. I love their ears. Waiting to see their little personalities but the others (except for the white one) are girls. This pic was when they were under a week old.

Ahh Donna they look cute I'm constantly looking at puppy pictures my hubby had said yes to us getting one, were going for a cockapoo and hopefully it will be next year be lovely watching your experience x

Grey is quite a random colour to have, but it all depends on what furniture etc you have and what sort of shade of grey, but yes I think it would work and could look quite stunning and different x

Thanks Donna, we have so many happy memories of Charlie that we will cherish. I think not having children has made me dote on her so much, which is making it so hard.
If you're not going for a girl because you dont want to pay out to get her spayed, wont you need to get the boy neutered?
It is important to wait and see which one chooses you, because they will be part of family for many years to come. Have you got a name yet? Gorgeous little pups, so cute.

Well done. 1lb is a great loss, so dont get disheartened. Try not too have to high an expectation, cos the nearer you get to target the harder it is. Just relish every ounce you lose , cos it all mounts up !

Yes Ronnie I went for my walk. I had my heart rate monitor on and I was out for 1hr 54mins and burnt 926 cals!!

Kim, I just really worked for it. You all know i'm not one to stick to plan and I tend to go out a lot but this week we only went out on friday to my nans and I was very aware of my food and drink intake. I also followed slimming world principles but counted the calories too.

Yeah we'll be getting him neutered when he's older, so he has time to mature and grow properly first (I thought you were suppose to do it early but read it can be bad for them if its done early) but boyfriend is just being tight because girls coat more in to buy and then also cost more to get spayed then boys do. He might change his mind if one of the girls really seems to click with us.

His tightness is a pain in the bum, but at least he doesn't go out spending silly money on on everything. I quite often have to tell him he should buy something for himself because he's umming aand arring about whether he should get new clothes or have something for himself. He's never got on at me for spending either, he trusts me to use the account and not go crazy, despite being tight even when I didn't work and we had the joint account he never questioned what I bought for myself or mack. He's also a lot better on the going out front lately... we've eaten out most weekends since I started my new job... much to the scales dismay.


We'll pick a name when we know which one we're having as we'll go for one that suits it.

I am so excited, I feel like we're having a baby. It's weird knowing our puppy is here in the world now as well but not here, might seem a bit less weird when we've picked one as at least we'll have a face to put to ''our puppy''



Really struggling with my chest again today called the doctors and got an appointment for Tuesday (said if it gets worse I'll call tomorrow to get on the triage list) I'm finding it hard to explain though, on an evening I'm finding it hard to breath and struggle sleeping because of it, during the day my chest feels really heavy, although I wouldn't say I struggle breathing its harder then it used to be and I can just feel my chest constantly. its not fun.

I'll see how I am tomorrow Kim and call if I get chance.... I know I should be pushier with them but to get an appointment on the day you have to call up in the morning and I struggle, I can call them when I get to work but then they have to call back and I only get short breaks so can't always answer when they call. When I had to call about little one I called first thing and they ended up calling when I was on my break (but for some reason my phone didn't tell me until after) so I didn't get a call until I'd finished work.

I didnt WI this morning, which I know I should have done, cos thats just avoidance, but I really just couldnt face those pesky scales cos I know they'll be screaming at me lol ! Im really going to try hard these next 2 weeks, cos it hubbys birthday in 2 weeks and we've got 12 family and friends coming down and I really dont want to feel like a Umpalumpa ! So I just might leave weighing until his birthday on the 28th and hopefully see a number I like by then. It will only 'depress' me even more than I feel now if I do WI today, so why do that to myself !
Right Kimbo, get a grip and lets have the next 14 days on plan !!!
