I'm trying not to have weeklies coz of binge after WI! But I had one on wed and 6 yest.. Oh well I'm doin about 8AP each day xx

8AP a day is great Carly! Mind you I ran up 20aps yesterday when I went tp York! My legs and ankles hurt today!
Are u alternating it between swimming walking etc or you just doing one thing?

That's fab! Mainly swimming and Wii fit Lol do need to start doing Zumba and just dance and using the gym but at mo I think doing somet is better than nothing lol xx
 
Do you have the pro points pedometer to work out how many AP's you have earnt or is there some other way to work it out?
 
I just use the little purple book in the pack - at the very bk! It's rough but it does me! I'm going bk to not using them and will try not to use weeklies ever lol... Don't see that working lol x

I asked people at the group that i went to and there was alot of them that had bought the pedometer and said it didnt work properly. I recently treated myself and got a heart rate monitor which shows how many calories i am burning but not sure how to work these into pro points some say 100 calories is 1 pp and others say 70.
 
That's really good! Not sure about cals to APs I thought it was effort for ur weight that counted ... Sorry I can't help! Good machine tho! X
 
hr monitor takes into account your weight when it calculates (i have to input my weight into my polar watch) and its the most accurate way of counting calories burned.

I would say 1pp to 70 sounds about fair. Estimation for food is 1pp to 40 cals but that usually underestimates, better to go with 70 to 1pp and be sure you aren't overeating. 100 is definitely too much. x

I love my polar hr watch... means i can get the best out of my workout (with hr ranges) and i know exactly how well i'm doing at the end of the session!! For me a good session is 350-450 but in a class or with pt I can earn about 900 x
 
Wow that's fab!! :) that's a clever little watch! I have one with hr strap but not used recently! Might hunt out and try to work it out! X
 
I have a polar HRM hannata and love it, gives me a greater sense of achievement seeing the calories i have burnt off.

happy hunting carly, hope u find it. I have just got my bike setup in the living room on a trainer, hoping to burn 210 calories a day so thats 3 AP to make up for the shortcake, caramel and chocolate bar i ate earlier (i am such a greedy git :p)
