hr monitor takes into account your weight when it calculates (i have to input my weight into my polar watch) and its the most accurate way of counting calories burned.
I would say 1pp to 70 sounds about fair. Estimation for food is 1pp to 40 cals but that usually underestimates, better to go with 70 to 1pp and be sure you aren't overeating. 100 is definitely too much. x
I love my polar hr watch... means i can get the best out of my workout (with hr ranges) and i know exactly how well i'm doing at the end of the session!! For me a good session is 350-450 but in a class or with pt I can earn about 900 x
