beccas diary

I'd make sure you got about 10 of each newborn vests and babygrows, you don't need much else though cus you can buy it when LO born as you don't want too much in one season etc

I've got in newborn

15 newborn babygrows

13 newborn vests

10 newborn outfits

3 cardigans and a hoodie

I've got more stuff in bigger sizes like upto 1 month and 0-3 but will get more of them when he's born, the tend to be in newborn only a few weeks so just get enough that your not sick of seeing same thing and get however much in 0-3 as they in it alot longer x

thanks mrs s , was worrying about buying to much coz a lot of people have said they not in them for long at all.i should really be stocking up on the winter padded all in ones in 3-6 and 6-9 months as they on offer on next, bit i keep putting it off thinking i need stuff for now.
nipped to asda last night and got big tub of sudocrem, box of huggies wipes, pack of bodysuits and lil outfit.
wanted to stock up on more nappies etc but was on my own and was struggling to carry everything

Even if they in for 2 weeks though 10 sleep suits think they changed 2-3 times a day so it's only a few days of clothes really not much at all, what I did with my LO and what I'm gunna do this time, I bought mainly newborn and a few 0-3 when he's born every week I get 1 or 2 things in next size so when he's born 0-3 then when he's in 0-3 I'll start getting a few bits a week of 3-6 so you not spending loads at once it don't feel like your making yourself skint and once baby starts going in that size you have a nice pile of stuff ready and don't need to spend a fortune to finish that size wardrobe off x

In the first wk or so you only really need sleepsuits and vests you can buy pretty ones for girls so they look more like outfits.

Hollie is still in new baby sizes she 3 wks now and there is loads of rm in them she's just got bk to her birth weight 7.8, I got loads of clothes for her in 0-3mths most of it friends and family brought her when she was born so maybe don't buy too much I usually do the same as mrs s when buying baby clothes, also I often wait for next sales and grab some bits. I really want to buy some white chest draws from ikea need some more storage for hollie's bits, but don't want to pay 35 quid for delivery!

Yeah I wait til next sale too and get loads in them, stock up on sleep suits etc while they are half price, my newborn stuff is mainly sleep suits, the outfits I have is all either nicer sleep suits/romper
Suits or joggers and tops so all soft and comfy x

Yeh I remember with Jesse I bought so many outfits and remember putting one on him and crying cus he looked so uncomfy I took it straight off, so I just wasted loads of money buying loads of shoes and little jeans and that he never wore, that's why I've not bothered this time cus I know more about newborns haha, you've had me looking on next now and spending money, they had a few things in the sale I tried getting a few weeks ago must be returns cus they had right sizes now, just got baby a jacket and some vests, some joggers and socks off normal site and got Jesse 2 tshirts on sale one a big brother one I wanted and got him some new jeans too off normal one haha, can't help it i get so bored in the day end up just spending money for nothing at the moment, at least I'll be more occupied with 2 eh haha x

My friend had there baby this morning they were told. Boy they did everything blue all clothes etc they had a girl oops x

Oh no I'd be gutted now if that happened, not that I don't want a girl just spent so long thinking of him as a boy, I had gender scan at 16 weeks in 2d and 3d and then 20 week scan and both said boy, iv got a pic too of between his legs with what
Looks like balls in between so hopefully he is deffo a boy aha you've got me paranoid now x

I wud be gutted if it happened to me obviously I wud love a little boy with having two girls and my oh wud been over the moon but I wud felt like I loss a girl if you get me cos you start to bond more when you know the sex and you imagine wot she will look like, I was abit worried that they got sex wrong, as they didnt seem that sure at my scan and heard it happening loads saying ur having a girl and ended up being a boy I think I posted a comment a few mths ago about someone I worked with they were told a girl and had a boy, they spend loads on pink stuff doing nursery etc, I made sure I brought some white sleepsuits just incase x

I want to go to next now and spend money I havent got! my next is a 5 min walk just aswell its raining, Maisie got one of those big sisters tops and hollie's got little sister tops so cute, there doing those 10 off vochours when ording online all you need is to give them a different email address, the dresses I got hollie were just sale ones they should fit her in few wks just too long at the moment x

The boys stuff is crap the girls stuff looks nice though I buy bibs and socks from there and the odd thing, like for Jesse I get him pjs from there they do 2 pair packs for £4 which is good and I get his underpants too, it's good for basic things like I get joggers from there which are £2 they tend to bobble after a few washes but for the price I just get him some more they've been a god send for potty training when having to change his pants a few times a day with dribbles! I have bought bests from there before and a few sleep suits but they do tend to go funny shapes after a few washes, you might be well to get some newborn though as they will probably be fine for how long you need them for xx

i goin to have a.look and see what they got. need more bib etc anyway so even if just get bits like tha.ethel austin used to be quite good till it went and peacocks

They do a pack of 7 bibs either pink or blue quite plain for £3 they are soft though and not plastic backed which I hate! I have loads of packs of them cus they are good value I had the same ones with Jesse, not the prettiest like what you would take out with you but for night feeds and round the house they are perfect x

brill they sound good coz all the others ive got r nice ones for when we out really.
went to see midwife on tue and she said i measuring perfect at mo,but baby lying in transverse lie position, so i got to use birthin ball every night to see if can move her slightly.
what you think the chances of her moving are?
started panicking coz resd in my book that if she still in that position cant give birth naturally

How many weeks are you now? There's a website called spinning babies, google it, there's some good tips on how to move them on there, my LO was breech and he moved head down about 34 weeks x
