Becky's Diet Diary

I have no idea how I've managed this but I have lost 1.6 lbs over Christmas!

I have reset my goals for the new year - going one stone at at time now as my original plan was to lose three stone which I've done and I don't know how much further I want to go!

Happy new year :D

Well done on the loss over Christmas and getting to your goal. I was also amazed I stayed the same, I was the same as you with food but thought the wine would let me down. keeping a lock on the wine cupboard now.

Morning - hope you have a good day. I was just going out for a walk but the heavens have opened so shut the door again - will have to do a DVD instead.

Morning :)

had to go into town this morning to buy a top as I'm out for a meal with family tonight. .. It's a size 14 but feels quite loose which is a good feeling although I'm not sure how much wear I'll get out of it before it is too big! Been to asda too to stock up on a few bits. .. not needed to do a full shop for 2 weeks now as we've been out a lot!

breakfast : porridge
lunch: probably a salad
dinner: out for dinner. ... Probably going to be a naughty one! !

ughh.... went out for a meal worth family last night and ate far too much food and drank too much wine! Still feel full this morning! Off to the gym now to try and burn some of it off!

At least you have the incentive to go to the gym - I usually just stay in bed :D

I have but the url for the Leslie Sansone DVD's on my diary incase anybody else wanted to know where they were - hope you had a good gym session.
I would rather do classes as I find the gym quite boring and mine is usually full of showing off men anyway :)

I have a husband (very thin one) who has been told to eat the 2 bags of fudge we were given by the hotel we stayed in - eat the rest of the Christmas Cake - don't give me any no matter how much I beg :)

I'm very tempted to just chuck them all in the bin! my daughter keeps picking at them too!

Going out for lunch today so skipping breakfast and will only have a snack for dinner if I am hungry.

I'll be glad to get back to work for the routine if nothing else! saying that though tomorrow I am out at lunch again but then that's it. ... hopefully I'll be ok for next weeks weigh in!

lunch: chicken and salad

I got my daughter to go through the Christmas chocs, put the ones she likes in a box in the kitchen. ... To go in her school lunch box and the rest went in the bin... I couldn't have done it myself without picking at them but I'm glad it's done now add the temptation has gone! !!

No dinner, just had a fruit salad :)

I'm starting again with counting the days as it was a good way to judge how I was doing before. Although I've been ok over Christmas I'm classing today as day one as I've had a few bad days recently! my goal is to get to 100 again!

day 1

breakfast : porridge
mid morning: cadbury highlight
lunch: steak and veg soup
snack : belvita breakfast biscuits
dinner: thai chicken noodles and melon

went to the gym after work. ... It was the busiest I've ever seen it! I'm hoping that the novelty will wear off for a few people over the next few weeks as I only just managed to get on the machines I wanted to use!

gym: treadmill 30mins (restarted my couch to 5k program but increased my speeds to push myself), cross trainer 25 mins, bike 30mins.

I am sure you will do it, starting at day one again will probably help psychologically x

I'm feeling very focused, I like the daily count too as it gives me something to aim for :)

The gym I go to in Spain is just the same - my friend emailed me today and was having a right rant about it. We can only have 12 in Pilates class and when she got there at her usual time there was a queue outside the door and she could not get in and was not happy (I would not have been) as she goes every week all year and in summer they struggle to fill the class but she is always there. "They can stuff their pilates class" she said today but no doubt she will kick up a fuss if she does not get in on Thursday.

Just off to Aqua for 45 mins - got OH to fetch me back as I don't want to walk back in the cold after being in the pool. :D
