Beef Jerky is evil....

Does anyone else eat beef jerky? I work for an American company, and at one of our last meetings an American colleague brought me 2 x 1kg bags of Jack Links beef jerky. I can't resist it - I try, but can't - I'm like an addict.

What is in it (MSG??) that makes it so irresistable? And is it really that bad for me?
