Beelishy's VLCD Weight Loss Adventure!!

My mum didn't choose it, she lived in the Soviet Union! :p Disposable nappies - they either didn't exist at the time or they were way too expensive for the normal every-day person. :)

As for hygene - they were boiled for an hour, so they'd be as hygenic as anything else that was exposed to the air. :) No one I know suffered ill effects, so can't complain ... probably the only problem would be a rash developing much more easily as it wasn't as flexible as the modern counterpart.

:)

Nooo! Silly! Hahah. I meant now-a-days, where disposable nappies/diapers are afforable. We get Asda's own brand ones now and theyre dirt cheap!! Yet when I was pregnant with tabitha, I got a leaflet in with all the million other leaflets I got about using one of the many cloth diaper services. They pick up the diapers (soiled) and clean them for you and then return them. I just dont see how that would be a better choice! LOL. Of course, in countries or times when there WAS no choice - you did what you did and that was it. Of course!! Haha. I just looked at that leaflet and thought....WHY would I do that, now? :p

Pff! I didn't even realise such a service existed nowdays!! Both methods are probably equally as destructive, depends on how biodegradable nappies are to be honest. Water wasteage/labour/fuel needed to pick them all up vs. nappies in a landfill. The poop will be there regardless...

Your feet are unique, I was a little bit in awe of your long second toe! It's amazing!! :D Feet are funny things, aren't they? :)

Ok. You guys. I fluffed up. I woke up from my nap (I dozed for about 15 mins. at the end and lie there thinking the rest of the time. ugh! lol) ....went to the loo and on the way back in (via the kitchen) while half asleep I grabbed a chocolate digestive and ate it!! Completely forgetting that I was on the diet and probably completely out of habit. Im not hungry so it must have just been my head and what Im used to doing. Isnt that horrific? I realized as I was chewing it what I had ACTUALLY done.

This is incredibly scary. This shows just HOW messed up my head is. Where I just on auto-pilot scoff an entire biscuit as though it was no big deal. Makes me sad. Ugh. Im so annoyed and disappointed with myself. I remember when Nat posted, not long after we had started the diet the first time, that she accidentally, without thinking, had a bit of the yogurt she was feeding Max. Like without thinking. It was kinda like that. And I remember thinking "I totally understand!!" and I told her not to beat herself up for it. I wish I could now practice what I preached to her then. Ugh. Gutted. Angry. Annoyed. Ugh.!!!!! Ive been great all week!!!! Even got my family McDs on the way home from my pedi and didnt get me anything ....came home and had my spag and salad and was very happy with it. So now..Im just UGH!

One biscuit isn't going to do ANYTHING to you, provided it remains that one biscuit. Don't worry. You're doing GREAT and actually unlikely to have knocked yourself out of ketosis for very long (i.e. you'll be back there by tomorrow). Don't worry. The more you worry and stress, the more likely you're going to end up dipping in again.

You're ok. Forgive yourself - you are RE-LEARNING years worth of engrained behaviour, you are FIXING it. Fixing such habits isn't easy and it can't be done overnight. You what IS fantastic though? The fact that you spotted it. Spotting it and when it happens is the first step to recovery!!

Have you ever seen 'Secret Eaters' on tv? Those people thought they were eating like 1200 calories per day, because they had shut off even acknowledging the random biscuit and forgetting eating a chocolate bar in the car.

It's ok honey, you're doing great! Every time you reach for that biscuit now, you'll grow more and more aware of your hand going for it. With time, you'll stop yourself before you even get there.

:)

Yeah...look! The Laundry Service So like..I guess youre supposed to keep stinky poopy cloth nappies for a once a week collection? See! thats what I mean....not hygenic! haha. Ew. Its an odd concept to me.

Yeah. I have a freakish 2nd toe. I dunno where I got it from, I dont think either of my parents have it. lol. My feet are very much like my dad's sister's (my Aunt) but her 2nd toe isnt like mine. Its really hazardous. The number of time Ive whack it on the edge of the bath getting out of the shower. LMAO!! OUCH! My little sister used to laugh at my feet when she was younger and she named that toe "Long Tall Texan" (Its a song in America). lol. Charming.

I really fancy PBJ sandwich today and I'm majorily feeling sorry for myself because I'm ill. I must admit I'm really struggling today. Mentally. I feel like my body needs more carbs to get better. Of course I know it's ridiculous to think a peanut butter sandwich will help me recover but so far today has been the toughest so far.

Don't worry about your lil slip up. One biscuit won't do you any harm. I do know what you mean though. It's amazing and scary how we can make certain decisions completely out of our consciousness. This diet teaches how to be disciplined and how to really pay attention to our food choices. Hopefully being on it for long enough will teach us good habits long term.

Im not so much worried about the effects of the biscuit but more the fact that I mindlessly scoffed it! lol.

Im over it though. I just want to get to weigh in already! lol. I need to figure out when I need to order another lot of packs and whether to order a week or 2 weeks. Hmm.

Morning!

Weigh in is fast approaching - Thursday - and Im excited. I weighed this morning. Not really doing cartwheels at the result. I was 259.8 the day before yesterday. Yesterday 259.6. Today 259.0 - seriously 258 already please. LOL. My body is seriously messing with me. Cheeky. lolol Maybe tomorrow I will FINALLY see 258. Maybe.

Anyway. Ive had my coffee. Yum! Got my water out and ready. Packs..Ive got a few packs of spicy spag from TDS...so today

B: PANCAKEEEEE lol (I love you for sharing this with me, Lou. Its my absolute fave now! haha)

L: Spicy spag

D: Spag bol and salad

S: Praline bar

Water, coffee, coke zero, ribena possibly

And I also wanted to say....last night - not sure if it was triggered by the biscuit or what but I was DYING for crap. LOL. We have ice cream cones in the freezer, quavers (my fave!), choccy digestives (obv :break_diet: lolol) and I wanted ALL OF IT. Copious amounts of ALL of it. I was feeling TOTM-y and crampy (of course I dont have it, it never shows up anymore) and just sorry for myself. I was annoyed about the biscuit incident still and just pity-party central. -- But I didnt. I gave myself a talking to instead. And i was sensible and had a scrambled egg instead and went to bed.

So today...I just wanted to reiterate how much I appreciate you all and all of the support you all give so willingly. <3

Minerva and Slim - you two are both in a bit of a yucky place at the moment. And yet you continue to stick at it and make the right choices. Inspiring! And i hope you both are on the up very very soon. :D xx

So today - 100%. Working towards that 258 by Thursday. I was hoping for my 257 but I dont think that will happen now. So 258 would make me happy. Im NEARLY there and then I would be back to where I was last time.

Holiday in 20 days. Mini goal of 250 (or lower) by then is still within reach.

ONward!

Have a great day everyone :D

well done for avoiding the junk that is the biggest danger time when you've had a little slip. Looking forward to seeing your weigh in results

glad you like the pancakes, I might have them for brekkie sometimes as the oatmeal pack is low carb, I miss them :(

you can do your holiday goal!

Im having a late lunch just now. lol I decided to head to the supermarket after i dropped Tabby off at school. I wanted to use the coin star machine and cash in all the coins we have. We are terrible for NOT spending coppers and 5ps. Hubby doesnt hardly spend his change at all!! So it builds up. We had one of those plastic "tins" that celebrations choccies come in at christmas time....about 4/5 of the way full. It was heavy! I put it under the buggy and started to walk to the shop and realised - nope. LOL. It was REALLY weighing the buggy down so I hopped on the bus instead. I had already walked 2 miles to Tabby's school and back (a mile each way) and I was thrilled when it was more than I thought. I figured about £20. Hubby guessed about £12 - it was just over £40! But once they take their "fee" it was £36 and change. Still! YAY! lol. So thats going into the holiday fund.

Then I walked the mile back home. And Im about to finish my spicy spag and salad lunch and then go get Tabby - another 2 miles! - at 3ish.

I was AWESOME (if I do say so myself) at the supermarket. I was really hungry but I got some salad bags for me, the cream cake hubby wanted (bleh hate cream cakes) and a small pack of little donuts for Tabby. There are 4 little ones in so it will last her 4 days! Woo. lol. They had the new Cadbury's bars by the til and I ALWAYS TRY NEW CADBURYS but I didnt. :D Go me. LOL. Small victories, eh?

Walked home, had some water, made my lunch....Zoe's asleep in her buggy....AND I BETTER SEE 258 TOMORROW OR ELSE! (joking... :p ) hahaha

Hope youve all had a good day xx
