Bev - Round 2

Badminton was fun last night and the hour flew by. Couldn't believe it was over so quickly. Had a laugh with daughter and her fiance too. Good workout for all of us, we were all sweating come the end.

Long walk in tonight after work so hopefully it's not raining. It was lovely down here last night after work, terrible in the morning but it cleared up lovely.

Walking to mum and dad's tomorrow night as it's dad's birthday tomorrow, 68 years young!! Can't believe he's nearly 70! He certainly doesn't look it or act it.
 
Bournemouth have terrible floods, so I guess we should all be really thankful today.

It was absolutely gorgeous down here yesterday and it is today as well. Amazing the difference in the weather not that far away!

Off to see dad tonight with his birthday pressies. I expect they are going out for a meal tonight to celebrate.

Sounds like you are keeping on top of fitness levels with your commitment to exercise. How is maintaining foodwise going for you this time round, Bev ?
 
Like you say the exercise levels are OK it's just the food. I've got to cut down a bit again. Don't want the weight creeping up and up. Happy as I am at the mo so just want to stay here.

Had a nice quiet weekend and didn't do much at all really. Nice to have a quiet one every now and then.

Dad had a good day and had some great pressies. He was really chuffed. He never wants anything but is really happy with whatever you get him. You wouldn't think he was nearly 70 now the way he acts and his fitness levels. Great for his age.

On a strict cut down with food this week. I haven't got rid of the holiday gain and could do with losing about a stone really. No bad snacks today and a meal replacement bar for lunch. Maybe having scrambled egg on toast for tea. Got to up my fruit and veg too, I'm very bad at getting 2 or 3 a day, let alone 5 a day! Hubby is 4lbs up on his "happy" weight so he is cutting back a little too. He finds it so easy though, lucky him.
 
Cmon Bev, you can do it girl. Good plan on being strict before you let it slip any further. A few good weeks and most of that stone will be gone.
Lucky for OH with his 4lbs!! Just not fair. Lol
 
So far today I've had my muesli and muller lite yogurt for breakfast and am having my bar for lunch now. Nothing else now until teatime. Got to be good!!
 
You'll soon shift that Bev no worries. These men are very annoying though!! ;) xx
 
Had scrambled egg on toast for tea last night. Later on I had a small slice of swiss roll with my coffee. A much better day all round foodwise. Had my muesli and yogurt already for breakfast and will have my mrb for lunch. Not sure what to have for tea tonight but it wont be too big, I know that.

Decided that hubby is having the car everyday now so that I can walk in after work every night for the extra exercise. Badminton starts in just over 2 weeks so that will get me extra exercise too.

My daughter did ask if I wanted to have a dominos pizza tonight (buy one get one free) but I declined. I love pizza too. I must be more determined than I thought! Dominos has only just opened in our town and I haven't tried one yet. Very good eh?
 
Great idea on letting him have the car, and you will soon be back at your badminton Bev.

Well done you for declining the pizza.......there is just TOO many calories in pizza's but lovely though. Keep the determination up chick, WE CAN DO IT.
 
Well done on resisting the pizza. Dominic is stevies favourite food!!!!!! He bloody loves it lol

Well done Bev on a great day. Resisting the pizza was fab. I used to love it but now just visualise a heaving plate of fat when I see it. So good for you! Keep it up.
 
Not a lot to report really. Food has been much better this week. No nibbles at work at all (apart from about 3 sugar free mints). Have had a few little nibbles in the evening but nowhere near what I used to have. Feeling much more in control of food at the moment, hope it lasts.

Walking in after work tonight and hope the rain stays away. At 6am it was absolutely chucking it down.
