Blip today :((

First week weigh in and I lost 5lbs which isn't bad but when I checked my keto stick and I wasn't in ketosis :( was on a course today do I thought sod it and had a normal breakfast and a sarnie. Regretting it now but I'm going strict on shakes tomorrow ( been having chicken and meat all this week so I think it's had an effect on my loss) do you think if I get back on it tomorrow and I'm strict all week that I will get that big loss that you usually get in the first week? So desperate to be skinny by Christmas x
 
Oh hun, don't listen to those stick things! I did two and threw them away, they just can't be trusted! Please don't rely on them and let them get you down, if you follow 100% you will be in ketosis! The only way you'll be skinny by Xmas is to give the diet your all, no more blips! You can do this!
 
I totally agree with smidge - the sticks are completely unreliable. Go by your weight loss and you know you're burning fat. Whether or not you get a big loss will depend on how much water weight you regained, but it doesn't matter - after that it's all fat!

Don't beat yourself up about a little blip - lots of us have them, it's what you do after that counts!! See you over on the 100% forum tomorrow. :bighug:
