Hi
You can weight train in the house, I bought some dumbells from amazon and 2 from sports direct.
The best purchase for home is a Swiss gym ball.... It works yr complete core and you only need to a couple of exercises to work every muscle in yr body, so it's knowing how to manipulate what you have with time you have, pennies and kids. I'm now a single parent since my husband left me and I work full time. I'm out the house at 7.30am, back at 6pm and I cook from scratch every day, and do gym ball when my 4 yr old goes to bed :0) my arms are looking good and looking shapely now, will upload some pics from last week on my birthday.
The Swiss ball is around £5-6 and it gets u fit pretty quick and every muscle works, you feel like u've been beaten up the next day, yr muscle are that sore and yr using yr body weight to exercise with.
Here's the exercises I do, I also do press ups from the Plank position so my entire body weights tips through my back, shoulders, arms and chest, remember yr core is engaged too (working yr abs, obliques, glutes, legs)
Thanks so much sandy for sharing the pics, I am going to get a ball now is there any you recommend for durance and sturdiness? I don't want one to burst on me whilst my ass is in the air. Lol
Haha it won't burst, I just bought mine from Soccer Direct think it was about £5 but Tesco sells them too, make sure u get the right size for yr height tho, mines 55cm and I'm 5ft7 (171cm) yr hips/femurs/knees much all be at 90 degree angles. You can google Swiss ball exercises too :0) xxx
