Hi Bren, glad to hear your dad is a bit better. Hope that continues :)

I see you have joined the jillian craze - and you're enjoying it? I think my dancing is more sensible/gentle/doable!:)

Enjoy your gig tonight and looking forward to seeing you soon (how many sleeps?!)
Xx

I turned over in bed at least 3 times tonight. Exercise for the day done, I think.

(((hugs))) for Bren. Hope the gig was blinding.

LOL my kind of exercise :D

Morning Bren hun, really glad to hear your dad is showing some improvement - and Jim is so right, don't beat yourself up about eating right now, there's so much going on, a bit of naughty stuff is fine, and you're doing lots of exercise too! Sx

How was the gig Bren? Hope you had a couple of nice relaxing drinks and a good bop. Is bop even a word any more? :D

What's the plan for the rest of the weekend petal? Still trying to get to The King's Speech here, sort of giving up at this stage as other things keep getting in the way. Might go to my friend's house for a natter/glass of wine tomorrow as OH out with his pals tonight, nothing else planned really - crammed everything into this morning! :D

Afternoon all, just about to go over and see Dad, then a dogbert walk and tea out and maybe pop in and see Dad at evening visiting on way back.

Gig was absolutely blinding - only 3 glasses of wine but it was enough - loads of bopping too :D and the lead singer got off the stage on the last song, came over and sang to his sister (my hairdresser lol) his mum and then me - was made up!

Talk to you all later - have a good day folks - 6 SLEEPS!!!!!!!! :D

Oh - fab night AND you got serenaded!!

xxx

Sounds like a great bop:D

Hope you have a good day
Xxx

Sounds brilliant and just what you needed Bren lovey. Hope your dad is in good form today. x

And OMG 6 sleeps???

Yes 6 sleeps lovely people :)

Dad was very tired, he slept through most of the afternoon visiting session, so went back in the evening and he was a bit more awake but still not good, every sip of water ends in a coughing attack which exhausts him further. He said all he wants to do is have a proper good drink but he just can't manage it, it is hugely sad to see him like this, I feel so useless.

Oh Brenda, that's crap lovey. So horrible to see a loved one sick. But you're not useless - your dad will have gained strength just from you being there. Support, love, distraction, call it what you like, but it's damn important to sick people to know there are people who care, and you're showing this to your dad when it really counts. Much love to you pet. x

Oh Bren, I know exactly how you feel. It's like you should be able to fix things somehow, or just how much you love someone should be enough to fix them. I hope it was just a down day for him and he gets his drink soon - would sipping through a straw help?

Oh Bren love I so echo what the others have said - it will mean so much to him just having people who love him there! xxxx

I have no words of wisdom - only this :hug99: - a kiss bum ;)

xx

Hi Bren, you are doing everything you can and your presence is so important. ((hugs))
Hope you have had some time to rest and relax too

Not long now....;)

Morning Bren :)
