ButtErFlies-In It To Win It

Yes I agree with you both. I want to be in control of my eating. I honestly eat like a big pig normally and would never just take a small portion ever. Now I want to be able to just eat what is necessary for my body. I feel much more in control too. I think with having the meal at weekend and I could hardly eat a thing nor did I want to. I didn't like the full feeling I was starting to get but I used to need that.

Now thats why I would say that this diet is def working for you, 5 weeks ago, you wouldnt have said that and now look at you... you're doing well. Pls stop worrying, your whole outlook to food now and life is far healthier then it has ever been I am sure. xx

im ticked off got my totm again, only finished last one 2 wks ago x

KD is amazing! I love her!
I've just been ranting all over the place about diets not working for me and CD maybe doing that too with me cos I ave been seriously freaking out about it. Some people have judged me making out I'm not committed to diet which I am but KD just understood exactly what I was meaning and explained to me how CD must work. I feel really happy and motivated again! She's cool! x

you have to loose weight luv, you may platua from time to time, and go up a plan to get things moving and down again, i already told you YOU WILL LOOSE LBS THIS WEEK , i am going to loose 5lb this week, ( i am wishing for that anyway) xxx

Good on you Claira, I'm feeling positive again. I'll go for 3lb cos I'll always be totally happy with that- even 1 lb is ok. I might wait till holidays and I'll be going up a plan then - maybe too much up a plan though!

KD is good. I hope that Asa is allowed to do the ss+, as her CDC doesn't do that plan. Odd how the diet differs from one country to the next isn't it? Surely jumping from the 450 cal to the 800 is a bit harsh, which is why the ss+ comes in to bridge it I suppose.

Just packed away my drinks cupboard, blimey.. I had forgotten what I had in there, was like a tardis! Few bottles I've never touched and never will, so will give them away at work, ha ha, they will love me!

Claira.. have you tried the transamic acid for your TOTM? Thats really good and limits the days of it too. GP said that it was due to the VLC intake that your hormones are mucked up and don't quite know what day it is. But as you go up the plans, that will change it, to back to normal. I know how you feel though, mine was for 3.5 weeks solid and it does affect your loss during that week/week's.

I'm aiming for 3lb's next week, am sure that this week will be a gain of a lb or 2, if I loose 1, then I will be jumping for joy. But I don't expect to!

Right, off to pack the saucepan cupboard now. xx

I got my TOTM on the day I was due which is unusual and lasted only 4 days which is fab for me. Hoping it carrys on like this and not the other way like some of you are experiencing. Zoe xx

Ok Broxi, will do! Thank you so much! You are great! I had to look up the word "daft" though, haha! Hope you are feeling better soon with your knee and hip! Sounds painful!

I do also feel more in control over my eating, that is a great feeling!

Yes, it is a bit strange how the CD is different between countries, but the nutrition in the shakes and bars is also different. And different countries have different "government rules" about nutrition. I am probably not making much sense :)..

Anyway, the leap from 3 ss a day, to 3 ss and a meal is a little big. They do say that you should spend a week getting your stomach used to the food, everyday have a bit more. Then we have to additional steps after 3 shakes + meal, but I am not going to look at those. In our material it doesn't say low carb, but I am aiming for that as well. It says 1/4 carbs, 1/4 protein, and 2/4 veggies (and that is the "government recommendations" on what healthy eating is here in Sweden, do which I had a translation for what a mean, haha).

Hi Asa, a lot of governments will be against the low carb style diet but what you do is up to you. I'll also put in something to show you what our stuff is made up of and you can compare - only prob will be language because ingredients will be strange words - that we don't even know what they are.

Thanks Broxi! Yeah, I use the online dictionary quite often these days, haha. Great way to keep the language alive though!

hi guys sorry not been about its been hectic this week, got a new baby starting this week well settling him in, he is seven months so its been fun. got weighted today :cry:I lost a 1Ib, oh well will do better next week, as I did have the weekend off so serves myself right, but im in control of this diet and it will take me as long as I want to do it so im happy, ive hit the two stone mark and finished the July challenge early and four pounds off the June challenge, all is good.

Witchy, I am sure you will have a bigger loss for next WI! I think it is great that you lost at all! If I would have had a weekend off, it would definitely be a plus result :)

Aw thank you Asa, im kicking myself for having the weekend off now, but a pound is a pound I suppose so thats two stone in five weeks :D.:D

Started walking to school again this week, so lots of exercise, which is good as I have decided to do the Walk for Life next year with my friends.

Yeah, a loss is still a loss! And even with this WI you have had a fab weight loss! What is the walk for life?

Its a run/walk for cancer, its only for girls and ladies to run/walk you have your number and the persons name you have lost on your back and you run/walk for them. Its a three mile walk/run and im going to give it a try for my nana.

Anybody watching BBC1 - Occupation? Really harrowing!

Asa, I've been meaning to compliment you on your English. I think you write like a native speaker. You've got better grammar than me :D
