C25K beginners - struggle with W1D1

Good luck Just Jools!!

Yes I have started recording my speed over the last 2 runs. I have a Polar HRM. The 20 min run was 9.5 min/mile.
I am going to focus a lot more on my pace over the next few mins.

Not sure which model. It my husband's I bought it for him one christmas, no way I'd have one for the distance I'm doing ( too expensive) but it is good. It links to computer on it's own programme, but you can also link it to running ahead website which will produce different tables of info e.g when I was on wk1 I could see the pace and distance of each minute run broken down, helping me to understand why sometimes I was struggling with certain reps i.e I was going too fast.

I did w2d2 today. According to the app I did 3 miles which is fantastic!
 
W5D1 again on treadmill. All good. I think I will try back outside tomorrow - no reason not to just that I'm now terrified of getting injured again!

Well I got through Wk5d3 last night. Can't believe it, it was great, averaged 9.2 min/mile which I'm thrilled about. Really got the running bug now & can't wait to get back out there. x :D

To be honest I'm not very consistant so it was probably a fluke & just a very good run that won't be replicated for some time!! x ;)

It's tomorrow. I'm doing 2 sessions a week now. As I do Zumba 3xs so I was only getting one day off and I was so tired. So I now run on Tuesday evening and Saturday morning. Dreading the 8 minutes tomorrow :/.........
Positive thoughts though I guess :)

I'm so rubbish! I've not run for over 3 weeks!! I need such a kick up the bum!!! Just watching the first episode of TBL Season 8 then going to get my trainers on and go out :)

Well I'm reall cross with myself now cos I fell asleep for 4 hours so missed my chance to go out running. Will have to wait til after work tomorrow night

Yeah i suppose I did! I had got as far as wk5 day 2 before I stopped so not sure what to do as not run for 3 weeks, do you reckon I'd be ok going back to start of week 4??

I would try that. You can always change it as you go if you find your fitness has dropped.
Well wk5 d2 complete.
I still gave no faith in how I can complete w5d3?!?!? It's a mammoth jump :/
