Calorie BARGAIN!

Some other stuff I've found recently:

Quorn frozen sausages - 45 cals per grilled sausage!
Tesco Healthy Choice Cumberland Sausages: 145 per 2 grilled sausages. These are lovely, and very filling
Sorbet - For a sweet fix, Tesco Raspberry sorbet is 85 cals per portion (about 70g)

Yep I can second this, they're also very good value, you get 8 fat sausages for less than 2 quid. Quite a peppery, spicy flavour. Me likey!

I have a recipe for low fat toad in the hole and I'm going to try it out with these. 293cals per serving! I can post the recipe if anyone's interested.

Yumyum my favorite kind of stuff. MAX food MIN calories. its what I live by daily

My favorite breakfast is what I had this morning.

1/2 cup of South wester Egg Beaters half an onion fresh garlic big handfull of mushrooms 1 can of tuna fish a tiny bit of olive oil and 0cal butter spray lots of salt and pepper some sea salt more garlic and basil

and as much ripped up fresh spinach as I could fit in the pan.

all cooked up with a side of several slices of Tomato's and a few slices of Banana

All for under 250 calories! Most people can not finish the plate its so much food! :)

Tonight we are going to try some Chicken BST's with mushrooms and onions added. (BST is BLT but with spinach instead of lettuce)

Should be able to keep it under 250calories unless I really get onion cravings then 280 calories :) I make the sandwiches so big most can not fit it in their mouth and even my big mouth has a tough fit :)

I am hooked on fresh spinach! I tried it once hated it. (love cooked spinach) then one day they accidentally gave it to me in a salad WOW was it good. while not good by itself (to me) when you COMBINE it with stuff its amazing.

Spinach in a chicken sandwich is simply heaven :) I love lettuce the nice cold crisp taste but it does not really have any flavor (and not much nutrition either) spinach though adds so much flavor.

Tommorrow night I have a new idea. I am going to make my usual chicken sandwich roll spinach onion tomato garlic salt pepper fat free may but I am going to replace the chicken with a 4oz Salmon instead. I am thinking it should be REALLY yummy!

will let you all know will be the same under 250 calories too

Mmm, I love spinach, cooked or raw it's loverly!

Another thing I found recently, the sachets of Oxo gravy granules are only around 22 calories per 100ml made up as per pack instructions. It's so tasty, I had the beef one with shallots and berries the other night and omg, so much tastier than the usual stuff. I put it on venison sausages (tesco finest, 3 come in at 180 cals, bargainous!) and it felt like it should've been very calorific, but wasn't at all.

Also, half a pack of the tesco finest mashed potato is only 175 cals. Very nice, and great to have in for quicky, easy dinners, and you get a fair amount of it.

I've started having scrambled eggs for breakfast; apparently protein-based calories come off twice as quickly as other calories so it's a good start for the metabolism. Mix in some crushed chilli flakes for an extra boost :D A couple of eggs on two slices of toasted W/W bread is ~250 calories, since I don't use any spread.

oooh, I'm off to Tescos now so I'm thrilled to see your post. What berries did you add to the gravy?? I've not had the venison sausages yet..but they're on my list, I've never seen them before so I hope my store stocks them.
Tesco finest mash is delish...and super super easy to heat up :D

Hiya :D It's just an Oxo beef gravy sachet, it says something like beef with shallots and winter berries (lol). Very nice! And I'm thinking again, it might not have been the finest mash I got, think it was the tesco maris piper mashed potatoes

Happy eating, lol

Nomnom I had a beef &lentil stew tonight came in at 250cals and was yummy. Just casserole beef, stock, tomato puree, tin of toms, assorted veg (pumpkin, leek, mushroom), 1tbsp brown sugar, bay leaf.

Other calorie bargain I made were apple & cinnamon muffins. 150calories each and they're decent size. Not much sugar in them in comparison to the size, but there's loads of apple in them which gives the flavour. Yuuuuuuummmmyyyy! :D
