Can this REALLY work??

Monday 18th April
B-coffee-hex a and 1 syn. Banana.
L-SW quiche-0.5
large free salad.
1 WM bread-hex b.
2 tbsp light salad cream-3
Mullerlight with vanilla and choc sprinkles-free!!

T-chicken, rice, onion, pepper, mushrooms, tomatoes, sweetcorn, soy sauce and 1 tbsp tomato ketchup-1. Made too much so will have the rest another day.
Another mullerlight for pud-mandarin this time.
Drinks were water and decaff tea with tiny milk-synned above.

Syns-5.5.

I'm going to save today and yesterdays leftover syns for lunch out on wednesday.

I'm full and I'm tired and I'm really chuffed with myself. I can't actually believe with the amount I have eaten that I am losing weight but I see no reason why I can't keep this up as I don't feel like I'm on a diet.

Having a banana now for breakfast then lots of jobs to do. Probably SW quiche and salad for lunch and then chicken with rice and veg for tea-tomato ketchup will be added!
Plans for rest of chicken are that today, with mash and gravy tomorrow and then a tomato based curry and rice on wednesday if there's enough left.At least DD will eat all of those and I can hide veg in them for her.

Tuesday 19th April
B-coffee-hex a and 1 syn, grapes.
L-tuna, mixed leaves, new potato, green beans, boiled egg, tomato made into salad and dressed with balsamic vinegar. Mullerlite.
S-pineapple chunks.
T-potato microwaved then cut into wedges and covered in frylight, salt, pepper and paprika-baked in a hot ove-they were delish!! Had big salad and cold roast chicken. 1/2 tbsp each of light and extra light mayo mixed together to dip wedges into-1.5 syns.
S-SW quiche as I was p'ed off about something and needed to eat-0.5syns.
Total syns for the day-3.
I know this is low but I'm saving them for my lunch out tomorrow. Been on the weatherspoons website sorting out how much syns in various options. I've done them for the total food though hopefully a lot of it will be free stuff. I'm hoping they have the 5 bean chilli as it sounds lovely and seems to be the lowest fat thing and should be mainly free. If not the syns for the total nutrtional content are 29.5 which I can afford anyway with yesterday, today and tomorrows unused syns. Hope the sun stays out now and we can eat outside!

L-weatherspoons 5 bean chilli which apparently is 4.5 syns. As I'd anticipated loads more I had a pudding-pancakes with chocolate sauce and icecream-it was lovely and 30 syns but I'm chuffed that I'd saved them up to have and I really enjoyed it sitting in the sun with my friends. Maybe too full for much at teatime. At the mo think I will make a big bowl of mixed fruit but will see.
Total syns for the week so far are-mon-5.5, tues-3 and today 36. Thats 44.5 of my allowed 45-excellent!!
 
Suddenly got hungry so had salad with ham and potatoes and 2 tbsp light salad cream-lovely. Extra 3 syns.
 
Thursday 21st April

B-coffee-hex a and 1 syn. Pineapple.
S-SW quiche warm from the oven-lovely-0.5.
L-SW quiche (0.5), potatoes and onion mixed with small mayo-0.5, very large salad-toms, cuc, lettuce, carrot, beetroot and 1 tbsp light salad cream-1.5.
T-chicken curry made with roast chicken, onion, mushroom, red pepper, tomatoes, garlic and curry powder with rice.

Total syns-4. A bit low but trying to make up for yesterday and saving some for a nice choccy treat after my late shift at work tomorrow. However I shall have to go to bed now so I don't give in to temptation!!

Managed not to have anything else last night, though I was tempted but I felt that although I could've had 1 treat I wouldn't have been able to stop at 1 so it was better not to tempt myself.

So plan for today-I'm working a late shift and don't often do them . Start at 12 and work until 8. Supposed to get 2 short breaks but there are only 3 of us on instead of 4 so we may not get a long enough time to eat a meal!
Breakfast-coffee-hex a and 1 syn.

Brunch before I go-bacon, egg,mushroom, tomato, baked beans and 2 small WM bread-hex b.

Taking to work-banana, mullerlight,big fruit salad-(pineapple, mango, melon, strawberries,grapes),chicken curry and rice. If I don't have time to eat the curry I'll bring it home for my supper or leave it there for lunch tomorrow.
So I'll be having 1 planned syn so may well have a treat when I get home too.

No too bad, went off a bit yesterday as it was my friends 50 th so we went for massages and..... Afternoon Tea.!!!
I was quite good in that I stopped at a scone with cream as I also had an eclair and 2 different types of sponge in front of me. Also had a small sandwich or two so I flexi synned the day.
Hubby had take away pizza last night and I didn't sneak one piece ( v proud)

Out a lot over Easter but mainly to my mums...... She's pretty good with dinners for me, but she always makes delicious cakes. Fingers crossed!!

Saturday 23rd April.

I had a creme egg for supper last night. Made it last nearly 25 minutes and it was LOVELY-9 syns so a total of 10 for the day.

Today-
B-coffee-hex a and 1syn.
L-SW quiche (0.5), large salad, potatoes made into potato salad with onion and 1 tbsp EL mayo-(0.5), 1 tbsp light salad cream-(1.5).
T-lovely lean roast lamd at mums with frylighted potatoes, parnips and carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and gravy (?5). Rhubarb mullerlight.

Total so far 8.5 and I've forgotten my hex b again!! Might have some toast before bed but haven't much bread left and wont be able to shop tomorrow so perhaps I'd better save it!

I have a new goal, though no date for it-hopefully next year. My sister is getting married. She lives in Canada and it would be so so great to have lost all my excess fat by then.
My problem with 'dieting' over the past 3 years has been than I've been trying to concieve and still am-having donor embryo treatment in a few weeks all being well, and I've always had in the back of my mind-well if I lose weight and the get pregnant I'll just put it back on again-but not this time because I know that I could try and carry on SW if pregnant and not put too much weight back on and this is making me feel more hopeful that I'll be able to stick with this.
Right-better go and see if DD is asleep so that I can sort out her easter egg hunt for tomorrow-shes 6 and is convinced the easter bunny is coming tonight. Only problem is that I got some lovely little M&S eggs and I don't know where I put them!!!

You will be slim Helen! If you do get pregnant and you continue to do sw, you may put on weight, (it's bound to happen, you'll be eating for two:) ) you must remember that what you are eating is healthy and good for you both. And if you continue to do so after you give birth the weight will continue to come off!

Sunday 24th April.

B-coffee-hex A and 1 syn. Lots of fruit-melon, grapes, mango and pineapple.

L-Big salad, SW quiche-which I've been counting as 0.5 syns a portion but it turns out my cottage cheese is free so thats some syns saved as my quiche is now free!Potato and onions made into potato salad with 1tbsp EL mayo-0.5. 1 tbsp light salad cream-1.5.

Tea-lovely shepherds pie with EL mince, carrots, onions, mushrooms and celery, wocester sauce, 2 knorr beef cubes (thought they might be synful but they're free!!) and 4tsp gravy granules(for 4 portions inc DD's)-1 syn per serving. Mashed my potato with quark and pepper and had 2 syns worth of low fat cheddar. Served with cabbage and baked beans-yummy. Had a real plateful and had intended to have half of mine (put normal cheese on DDs and didn't use the quark as I thought she might not like the taste so cooked them seperately) but 1/3 of it was plenty.

So my total syns so far today are 6.
23.00-ETA-had mullerlite and 2 mugs of tea so syns still the same.

Total for the week so far are 75.5. Plenty for me to play with if I want a treat tonight.

Not much exercise this week-walked DD to school and back so thats around 30 mins per day and walked to work yesterday-another 20 mins, oh and went for a walk in the afternoon-another 40 or so. Done some gardening today but mainly weeding so I don't think that counts really.
I must make an effort with exercise this next week.(after I've got tomorrows night shift out of the way!)

Debating whether to pop on to work to get weighed in the morning before we go out or whether to wait and do it wednesday, though tomorrow is my 'official'day. I'm due for TOTM this week and I always retain water the day before so this week may be a little skewed, but it'll mean a bigger loss next week(or so I'm telling myself) and although a good loss would be great I'm in this for the long term.

Monday 25th April.
Lost 2 1/4 lbs!! Pleased with that. Walked onto work to get weighed so 20 mins brisk exercise and its only 9 am!!

B-banana, mullerlight, coffee-hex A and 1 syn.

I'm a night shift today so will be having several small meals which I need to sort out later. Going out to a garden for an easter egg hunt this morning so some more exercise. Should help me sleep this afternoon!Back later.

Ok rest of monday-
lovely chocolate icecream (1 scoop) in a biscuity cone-??20.

A grand total of 26!! Part of me was wondering whether to not count the icecream as its day 1 of my week and I only use 75 syns last week, but I think I'll keep it in this week and just have less for a few days. Shouldn't be too difficult and it'll be nice to think that I could have a weekly 'syn pricey' treat (like my weatherspoons pud last week) and still lose weight.
So 26 it is.
Just hoping for a quiet nightshift now!!
