Can you mix S and S with Exante?

I had purchased a supply of Exante before I discovered the s and s site and have sent for the sample pack. I really like the taste of s and s but can't afford to not use the exante sachets.
I have read on here that you can mix the two - if I have two of each a day, can I still have the extra vegetables?
 
if i was you i would do 1 day exante + 1 day s&s that way you def no that your getting the correct nutrients a day. Im currently doing 1 day CD + 1 day S&S as at the mo as i like aspects of both diets. You can def have the allowed veg etc of your S&S day. Hope that helps. x
 
Thanks for the reply. I am preferring the s and s as it feels like I am having a meal but need to use up the exante too. Is it correct that as long as I stay under 800 cals I should be ok?
 
I do , but you must remember that exante packs are 1/3 of your essential nutrients and S&S are 1/4 so you must ensure you get the mix right , I always have 4 packs ,. either 3 S&S and 1 exante or 2 S&S and 2 exante .
 
If you want to mix during the day then I would suggest using My Fitness Pal to keep an eye on the overall levels of protein/carbs/calories. I would suggest that you stick to the following guidelines...

1. Keep your daily carbs to 60g a day or less.
2. Make sure you are getting at least 50g of protein every day.
3. Keep an eye on your overall level of calories. SnS aim for 650 or less per day (I have 800 but I am close to goal and have made a decision to do that).
4. If there is any possibility that you are not getting all of the vitamins you need (eg having only 3 packs some days and one of them being SnS - even if achieving protein level etc) then take a multivitamin too. I would suggest a pregnancy multivitamin as it doesn't contain any vitamin A and too much vitamin A can be quite bad for you.

The easiest thing however is to do a day of SnS and a day of Exante as you do not need to think about all of the guidelines above!
 
Thanks weasey. Was thinking it would be easiest to do alternate days so will try to to do that but may mix them at the weekends. Will need to get the exante used up. Tempted to order more slim and save but will try to resist the urge meantime!!
 
Mean't to say - your losses have been amazing! Well done. I did lighter life 4 years ago but put some back on over the years. Blaming comfort eating due to circumstances in my life, but can't keep blaming that. This time I really mean to keep it off for good.

Thanks! I'm coming towards meeting my target and am a bit scared of learning to maintain! A long slow re-feed is on the cards for me!
