Don't stress over the 3lb gain, I gained 4 wk before last n last wk lost it. We all have off wk's n don't stick to plan, u have to think about how much you've achieved, u could have thrown in the towel long before now but u haven't! you will get to goal no matter how long it takes. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. you have so much going for yourself! :) chin up xx
 
Hi Carly - 4 on for me this week and I don't think I was that bad really! It's so hard getting back on the wagon today. I'm concentrating on one day at a time and fingers crossed it will be back off next week. We can do it! X
 
carly mate, forget big figures and big events, just think of 7 pounds at a time, kick ass to 7 pounds and then move on to the next 7 and so on, it's less frightening! xx

Great way to look at it.

Also have you thought of making yourself a visual chart. Maybe a picture of how you looked before starting ww, then every month there after till you are were you wanna be. Stick up a little picture for ever 7lb. The visual thing really works for me. I've been taking pictures in my swim suit since day one. They started with me very embarrassed squashed into it and ended with me completely different posture and the suit is a little baggy. Just a thought.

Also you have lost the weight of my 4 year old daughter!!!! Impressive xxxxxxx
 
Can i preface this by saying im not a horrible person and i don't say things purposefully to upset or offend people, but i am someone who speaks their mind so here goes.

Carly, i think you should take a step back and really think about yourself and your weightloss journey.
You offer so many people on here so much support (myself included) and everyone appreciates it but do you put the same thought and motivation into your own effort?
I know from your list you have many reasons to be scared to lose weight (hell, we all do) but instead of focusing on the reasons why you shouldn't lose it, have you thought, really thought, of the reasons why you SHOULD do it? I know you have your daily positives but what caused you to join ww in the first place? Are you doing it for yourself or for other people?
The simple fact is, and i don't mean this to sound as harsh as its probably going to come out, the reason why you aren't doing as well as perhaps you would like to do (please dont think I'm dismissing the hard work you have done or how far you've come already) is because you aren't always sticking to the plan. There's no big secret to weight loss. And you've already demonstrated that you can follow the plan and get some amazing results.
It is soooo hard to get motivated (i know, it look me 12 years to find the motivation to lose my weight) and you spend so much time motivating everyone else that maybe you should focus more of it on yourself.
Im honestly not poo-pooing your effort. Im not saying that im not grateful for all your imput because i really am. And i am honestly not trying to be a *****. Maybe I've got this all wrong but i know that, for me at least, people constantly saying 'it doesn't matter' wouldn't work and a kick up the arse would be more beneficial. If its not what you need and if i have offended you then i am honestly sorry.
Thank you for all you do for us. Please dont forget to do it for you too.

Ahhh bless ya hun!! Hope you're ok. You are doing so well and you will reach your goal, keep going girl :) I know how hard it is starting back on it again, I've been finding it hard too recently. But you've stuck to it before and you can do it again :)!! I agree with Anj, I think on here we constantly say 'someone give me a kick up the arse' But are we doing it for each other? What's really really really worked for me to make me stick to this recently is ... not how I look and my figure (although totally important) It's my health!!!!!! And nothing can be more important than that. The amount of people in their 40's who are having heart attacks and have diabetes, is quite frankly bloody scary. My Grandad who has always eaten well, not drank, healthy weight has had a bad heart for years now, and I think omg I'm overweight what could this mean for me? Sorry for blabbing on, just this has really helped me stick to it recently! Put things in place to help your loss. I lovvvee my choccie, and my will power being low at the mo means I give my oh my debit card throughout the week and have a few pennies each day to get my sweet treat after work :D that way I know I can't binge. Luckily I don't have a lot in the house as oh isn't bothered, but if you have, get your Mum to hide it? Sorry I don't mean to lecture but you've helped me a lot and I just want to spread things that have worked for me. It's a rocky journey and we'll all be picking each other off the floor and dragging back onto the wagon at some point. We're in it together, hope you're feeling better today lovely xxxxx
 
Anj, i don't think Carly or anyone else will take your comments the wrong way, everyone knows you would never mean it in a horrible way :) I understand what you are saying, we are all here to support each other but maybe we could be a little more truthful and push each other a bit more :) Carly, you are so positive about everything and you motivate us all so much- I agree with Anj, you need to use some of that energy on yourself lovely!!! You know you can do it, stop holding yourself back, you deserve to lose weight and meet your goals, you are worth it! :) xxxxx

I needed a bottom kicking... I have had a good day... I resisted the newly stocked up tuck shop at work... I am 5pp into my weeklies but that is ok :D I am having tapas and wine friday so will maybe have a few tomorrow and save the rest to friday... and see what I have left over afterwards :D

I don't take offense from anything said - at the end of the day sometimes we all need a kick and a reminder...

My Top 5 Reasons:
1. To be able to shop in "normal" shops - especially top shop
2. To feel confident in myself, feel like I deserve to be loved and to know that clothes look nice on me
3. To be fit and healthy
4. To never have to worry about seats being too small!
5. To never be embarrassed or upset

Hi Carly I just wanted to say what Angie has already said but she beat me to it lol. You are an amazing lady and you will meet all your goals because you are so determined I admit it can't be easy with work and everything as it can be very stressful. But you always seem to find the time to help everyone and give such good advice and support maybe you should stop and think what your telling them you should do to. I'm the same as you I hate veg and I love chocolate but if you work out a plan for the week you can get around it all. I plan my meals for the week on a saturday and just keep about 10-15 point for deserts so that way I don't have to worry about the plan and just look at it to find out what I'm due to eat on that day. You probably thinking gosh she talks aload of rubbish lol because I know I do but I wouldnt be able to survive without the good advice from this site. Go Carly you can do it you will meet your goals.

Thanks Chug! I always plan ahead and buy just what i need for the week.. but pre-ww I had lots of meals out so I still try to meet friends and find it tough if I use all my weeklies on one or two days... but I kno I can stick to my dailies.. thanks all for the bottom kick :D xx

Your very welcome. Its good that you plan ahead. Its good that you try to meet friend and go out for meals and you should never stop that. I use most of my weeklies in a couple of days but i alway keep 10 incase I need them in the week. Then in order for me to stick to my dailies (which I know you do aswell) I don't take any money with me to work so I can't buy any extra treats because I think that would be the biggest problem for me. I have 2 sugar free mints a day if I'm hungry I have one in morning as a treat and one in the afternoon and loads of water lol. The other problem I have is at work when its someones birthday they bring in cake and they are so hard to resist so I take my own little box and put some in there and then I have a bit everyday but it becomes a pain when there is 2 birthday in one week lol. Anyway enough of me rambling on I have probably sent you to sleep now lol. Good luck and I'm here to support you and tell you off if necessary lol only joking about tell you off lol.

Your welcome I always like to help people if I can and pass on my experience but obviously only the good experiences lol. I remember I use to take money to my old place of work and gosh the thought of what I use to buy makes me feel ill lol. Its bad enough for me when I go shopping my on a Thursday my poor partner everytime he puts something in the trolley like chocolate bars for us both or cakes I have to sneak them out and put them back on the shelves without him knowing because he forgets Im on this diet and he keeps saying to me he should stop eating sweet stuff cos his putting on weight so I'm helping him too lol. Then when we get home he says I'm sure I put some doughnuts in the trolley and I just pretend his going mad lol x x.
