I know what you mean about photos. I absolutley hate them to the point of being obsessive and deleting any that include me (even on other peoples cameras). I literally feel sick to my stomach, it's hard to explain to people.
How fantastic that you have posted one on here, and left them on facebook. That really is a brilliant achievment, you should be so proud.

Aww Squeezy, you've made me smile big time
I'm so glad someone understands the photo thing. I am also very obsessive, bordering on phobic about other people taking photos of me. I have been big since childhood and so I have developed many coping mechanisms for dealing with photos. Depending on who I am with these range from shouting 'nothing below the shoulders' to taking the photo myself from up in the air to hide 'chins', to taking other people's cameras to 'look at the photos' and then calmly deleting them myself. If that wasn't possible I would get extremely anxious about what would be posted on Facebook for the next few days after an event and then as soon as they appeared, detag myself! I so know what you mean about feeling sick. I really didn't think I would ever get to this stage but I really do feel quite liberated I want to be proud of where I am rather than ashamed. My shame was linked only to my lack of control and I feel that I am making changes that have allowed me to regain control.
