I feel stuffed now - HEB and HEA - no syns

What kind of wraps are these? Do they count as a hexb?

What's not to love about pizza for Brekkie?

They gave us a fact sheet thing on hols last week that shows you how much grub they serve on the boat in a week (18000 slices of pizza in 7 days!?!?)

The 'Bfrom' I think that's it are hexb, they're in the aisle where all the 'wheat free' etc stuff is, I've never tried them myself though.

Hi hun, yup Michelle's right, they are b free wraps in the gluten free section. £2;80 ish for 6. For an actual wrap, they don't quite hit the spot - they are quite cardboardy - but as a pizza base, they work really well.

Friday 9th May

Happy Friday one and all!. Weigh in today - STS. I was hoping for at least a pound. Oh well.

I am thinking I need a bit of a kick start. I am thinking that I might use my HEBs this week as something other than bread and not have as much cheese for my HEAs and I am going to have salads for lunch for work everyday, no pasta or jackets, just salad and some form of protein and see how it goes.

I need to start exercising again too, my hip is still painful but I am stretching every night to try and loosen it. Ironically I think losing weight would help!! It's my TFL muscle that is damaged - a small muscle near your hip bone. I have stopped my physio because it is £60 a time - but she gave me exercises to stretch it and my other muscles out and I have you tubed some more stretches to help. She told me I need to strengthen my core, abs and lower back - I just want to be able to workout again - waaaaa!!!!

Well done on STS!

£60 a time Cripes. How often were you having to have that? Xx

Ps happy Friday woohoo x

Your food has been looking top notch gorge, serious food porn. Green days are my favourite by far because I always find that you can be full and grab something to munch easier than red. Red take far more planning.

Well done on STS too, loss next week for sure if you carry on with the amazing foodage! Xx

Twice a month!!! Cherching!! I need that £120 to put in the wedding fund pot - sh!t hip or no sh!t hip!!!!

I need to strengthen all my lower body muscles, glutes, hammies and calves - and core - I am thinking of just going to the gym and working my weigh round the weight machines a couple of times. No weight bearing fat burning (which is what I really need!)

Happy Friday!!

Food is looking fab CB.
In terms of weights/strength they can actually really help you lose weight, as using heavy weights actually burns a lot of calories even after a workout, it might be worth seeing if you can get a bit of a plan together for a strength workout- things like kettlebells are great for strength and have minimal impact on the joints etc. I hurt my leg recently so had been sticking to low impact stuff in my workouts but also rowing instead of running etc- if you can row flat out for 3-6 minutes at a time you'll burn fat- I managed to row 1000 metres under 4 mins the other night and 3.56 mins of exercise has never felt like such a workout!

The arthritis in my left hip is pretty bad at the moment, limping most mornings & if I sit too long. I'm doing a lot of weights and low impact stuff at the gym, rower, bike arc trainer & some walking on the treadmill. I have to say it hurts less after gym than when I walk in. Hopefully the more weight I lose the better it will get.

Hi Hells

Thanks for the tip! I will give the weights a go. I have kettlebells at home and a DVD. I used to do the rower too it's a great all round workout - I might give it a go to test run the old hip.

Xxx
