Cheese cheese cheese!

Hi :) I am doing green days so am able to have 2 x HexA and 2 x HexB each day. My question is... as cheese for Green days is on the HexA and HexB list, in theory could I have 4 portions of cheese in one day?? I obviously don't have any intention of doing this often but it just seems bizarre that potentially I could eat this amount of cheese. Is there any advice about mixing up the Healthy extras or can we literally pick and choose as we like?
Thanks in advance for any advice x

Yes you can have a cheese fest if you want :) You can use your healthy extras for whatever you want although its probably a good habit to ensure you are getting lots of variety

Thanks for replying :)) Oh wow that's good! I probably won't do it although it's good to know that if necessary I could double ip my cheese as a bit of a "treat" every now and then!

I was also wondering this, I've heard about it but thought I was mistaken.

Out of curiosity tho, which cheeses count as a HexB? Are they the same as HexA cheeses?

Thanks x

No its a wider range so it's even better lol. You get all the HEA choices but lots of soft cheeses that don't count as a HEA such as danish blue, stilton, brie, camembert. Reduced fat feta and halloumi where only the full fat ones count as a HEA. And the flavoured philadelphia cheese, extra light and a whopping 130g of philadelphia lightest :)

Although you could technically have 4 cheeses selections for all your HexA's and HexB's, make sure that you are getting enough fibre from the other foods you are eating. You should be okay if you have wholemeal pasta and spuds etc during the day.

Thanks! That's excellent - I'll probably have the extra cheese with pasta or potatoes anyway :) much appreciated xx
