So put the lovely salt and vinegar on other stuff... salads, broccoli, chicken strips... heck, make celariac chips and have at it

Did you know that they used to throw the batter away, after the fish was cooked? I saw it on a cooking program a few years back - the batter was used to get the fish to cook perfectly, but back then they peeled it off and tossed it.
