I would draw a line under it and start again.
If you can i would try not to have things in the house that can temp you into over syning.
My big no no is bread so if we have any in the house i ask for it to be hidden from me so i cant see it in passing and think "il just have a couple of slices" before i know i could have had half a loaf.
I am exactly the same with bread! 2 slices turns into a loaf gone. I don't buy it in anymore as it's the 1 thing that beats me, just have no willpower with it. Thick cut crusty white toast with butter & jam is my ABSOLUTE favourite, drooling at the thought haha.
