Chunky Dunking, taking the plunge and losing the flab!

Get practising and you might find a new calling in life. You've read my diary and seen that I had a Chinese on Saturday so I'm not going to judge or you a wee Indian. Oooh you're having peanut butter for dinner. I can't be trusted with it so I don't buy it :( Lunch sounds very tasty, haven't had bacon since I stopped SW. They took all the fun out of it when I had to cut the fat off lol xxx

I think sometimes you just have to, it's the spiraling of it that's the problem, if I could just stick to one bad night, a Chinese or an Indian would be fine!. Still, we're back on it afterwards, and that's good! I love peanut butter, but it gets sickly, so it's one of the only foods if I fancy I can wait for (been excited for this for a week!) because I know if I have it before I wont want to when I'm supposed to, same with Marmite!
It does suck without the fat doesn't it? if I'm feeling naughty I'll leave it on for a sarnie and just pretend the calories don't exist! What's 2 slices of bacon fat anyway? :p
XXX

I don't find it sickly I can sit and eat it on toast all day long which is why I don't buy it. I only like the crunchy stuff too.

2 slices of bacon is nothing to worry about the grapes and apple for breakfast balance it out ;) xx

I'm a hugeee failure at the moment. Got home, scoffed 2 felafels and a pack of snack a jacks, then changed my dinner to burger, home made chips and corn on the cob (with butter), was so tired I threw a proper crying hissy fit like a child and ate a lot of ice cream. My fat jeans are too tight and I'm so disheartened today. Feels like the more I try the more I fail. Blahhhhhh.

Plan for today:
Breakfast: Nak'd bar, I did have something else but stupidly left it in boys car this morning
Lunch: The protein box I should have had for dinner
Dinner: Edamame and Felafel salad

Anyone else feel like they need a break from life?

Yep all the time. I'm only so on the ball cos it's my first week. You just need to find your groove again cos when you're good you're really good! Are you feeling less tired this morning? xxx

I just have the Friday feeling all the time at the moment, just get home and go "Screw it", feeling a bit better now after a good night sleep, but after not sleeping all weekend I'm still feeling pretty rough. Finding it hard to get into exercise!

Take it one step at a time. Just concentrate on the food bit for now and worry about exercise when that's going ok. I hate being tired it makes me such an evil cow xx

I think I might have to, have a week of good food 100% on plan under my belt to me egg me on before I start doing anything strenuous! I did manage 15 mins on the cross trainer on Sat but that was it!

I don't think anyone does well with being tired, I go full on child who's lost it's dummy kind of stropping, the "I'M NOT TIRED" kind! :p Don't know how Boy puts up with me!

It's one less thing to worry about/beat yourself up about, try it for a week and see what happens. I'm okay if I'm left alone but I live with the most aggravating man in the world and he wakes me up every morning getting ready for work which is fine but if he tries to talk to me I want to kill him. Once I've had my tea and toast I'm fine but before then approach with caution lol xx

He he i am the same, my work colleagues used to ask each other if i had had my cup of tea before they risked approaching me to ask a question x

Have you guys tried Leslie Sansone walking routines? I am not great with exercise as i feel self conscious and do not have a lot of cash at the minute, I got recommended these walks and i now do about two a day x

If you fancy trying it just type Leslie Sansone walk into you tube it comes up with a variety of miles, just chose the one you want (i recommend the two mile one, where she is the only one in the picture as a starting point) she then does four steps walking on the spot, forward kicks, backwards kicks and side steps, you do a warm up then it speeds up a bit and then she does a cool down. The two mile one only takes thirty minutes and honestly after a couple of days of doing it i felt so much better and had more energy x

It's not so much the knowing what exercise to do with me, I used to do like 2 hours every night or solid, back breaking exercise. I'm just finding ti so hard to get back into it, as soon as I sit down it's like "Nope, I'm done for the day!" XD

You'll get your mojo back I have every faith in you. I've seen them mentioned on another diary and might give them a go until Jillian arrives. I need to start moving my grumpy butt xx

Mojoooooo, come backkkk!

Last nights dinner was a success, black rice risotto (changed as was way too hungry for a salad!) with soya beans, peas, bacon, mushrooms and rocket. What was not so successful was the cookie and ice cream I had for pudding. I'm seriously floundering with this. Snaky peak ( I know, sorry!) on the scales, still a STS and only 2 days till WI. Somebody slap me!

Plan for today:
Breakfast: nectarine
Lunch: Carrot sticks, baby corn, felafel, 2 Ryvita thins (YUM!) and onion hummus
Dinner: Undecided. Need some inspiration so will be doing lots of hunting on the forum today, nothing I really fancy so that makes it a bit more difficult!

You and those flipping scales woman! Behave yourself!

A STS isn't the worst news you could have. I know we all want to see a 7lb loss every time we get on them and get to goal in under a month but at least you're not gaining. You're trying which is the main thing and your mojo will come back it's just taken the scenic route or did you leave it in quarantine when you came back from the states? haha I shouldn't tease I know but you will get there. Take each day as it comes, food today looks good so try and find something equally as good for dinner and that's day one of being totally good under your belt xx

I'd be totally happy with 2lbs, though it wouldn't be deserved, I'm trying to get it into my head that if I do a good week I know 100% I can get 5lbs, because I've done it before, it's just sometimes my body wants bad food more than it wants a loss! Silly thing!

I need to get into the habbit of having fruit for pudding instead of sweets, it's not like there's not an obscene amount of fruit in the house!!

WI for you today! How you feeling?

Bad food tastes too nice, I blame the boffins who create the crappola that we become addicted to and it just feels nice to be naughty doesn't it? Habits take a while to form so focus on one meal at a time, one day at a time then before you know it you'll have that magic loss on the scale. I'm getting nervous now because I've been so good and if I don't have a good loss I'm gonna chin someone and if the mr has lost more than me when it's me who has cooked everything, done all the planning and stopped him straying it will be him that I chin I kid you not lol xxx

I think bad food was created by the diet industry if I'm honest! What a brilliant plan, keep them fat, they'll attempt to lose it, spend lots of money on either!
If you chin him, I promise I wont tell anyone! You should sneak a bit more of the dish onto his plate so he's eating more than you! :p I know I know that's cruel but what a good way to make sure you win!

I watched a programme on it a couple of months ago, they did a series of 3 I think it was about the diet and fitness industry and how basically they set us up to fail and make billions of pounds every year watching us lose weight then gain it all back and then some more.

The scary thing is I have thought about it, I could add lard to his meals and not talk him out of his late night snacking then I would win every week. I love my evil side but she does get me into trouble xx

Admittedly I've done it to Boy, not given him anything unhealthy, but if I'm cooking 2 different portions (like adding prawns to his) I'll fry them in oil whereas my chicken is done in fylight, I wont be beaten! It's mainly because he loses weight so quickly, so I'd rather he did it slowly and steadily...says the evil side of the brain!
