Claires xenical ramblings

My laptop has died :( So Im having to use a friends computer. That's why I have not been on here for sooo long! I haven't fallen off the diet wagon yet! My weight did sts for bout 3 weeks though and I was gutted but I lost 3lbs on sunday so hopefully things are back on track.

Weigh in day!....I have lost 2lbs.
I have now been on my diet for 16weeks and haven't cheated once! I have lost a total of 3st 10lbs and I'm pretty pleased with that.

I am getting a little fed up though of the slow weight loss and the sts weeks :(
I will be stopping xenical for my birthday weekend as I am going away and want to be able to eat out with my friends and am thinking of staying off xenical and trying a VLCD for a few months to kick start my weight loss again.
I am currently off work and this would be a good time to do a vlcd because I wont have to worry about having energy for work and can just go on gentle walks every day instead of slugging it out at the gym 4 times a week!
We'll see though. I did lighterlife twice before and both times I only did it for a couple of months (it got too expensive) and afterwards gained the weight back and more!
 
Well done on the weight loss so far, BB that's awesome. I can't comment on the VLCD as I have never been tempted to do one! Good luck whatever you decide.

I don't think I could cope with a vlcd! I get all light headed if I don't get enough food :eek:
 
16 weeks and you have lost 3st 10lb (52lb) which is an average of just over 3lb a week which is faster than the recommended weight loss anyway. You have done amazingly well on xenical and it is obviously working for you.
I do have to ask why when you have done a vlcd twice before where although you have lost the weight quickly you have always gained it back on why you are actually thinking about potentially wasting all that money doing it again.

I know that we all want the weight to come off as quickly as possible but I think you would do yourself alot more favours accepting that you are doing really well and that it is going to take some time to get it off. That way you are definitely more likely to keep it off when you get to what you want your goal weight to be, which has got to be the real goal.

So I am back!

Unfortunately last month was not a good one, I came off my xenical a week before my bday (may 17th) as I was going away for a long weekend with friends and wanted to eat, and boy did I eat :( I pretty much ate everything in sight!
Then on the 21st may, a few days after my bday my grandad passed away and I just couldn't stick to my diet, I know I shouldn't use that as an excuse but I was upset and spending alot of time at family members houses and just ended up eating whatever came along.

Anyway, I am back on track now. I did put on some weight but I dont wanna weigh myself again for 4 weeks so I will be happy with what the scales say!!

ok so I never actually got round to re-starting my xenical 4 weeks ago like I said and I could kick myself for being so stupid and eating like a pig and gaining over a stone :( Grrrrrr!!

Anyway.....I re-started today (at last) and I feel so much better already, have eaten lots of yummy healthy food and I think my body is happy to not be filled with crap!
So weight loss here I come, take 2!

Right I was keeping a paper diary before of what I had been eating but I kept losing it so I am going to write on here instead, cant lose it then can I!

Breakfast-
30g Special flakes with 125ml semi-skimmed milk
1 banana
=Calories: 275

Lunch
2 wholemeal rolls
2 extra light laughing cow cheese triangles
lettuce
1 shape zero blueberry yogurt
=calories 339

Dinner
Quorn cottage pie
Carrots and green beans
=Calories: Approx 250

Days total=864
That's not alot really is it, i think I need to be eating more calories than that, at least 1,000.
But I am full up and don't wanna eat any more :(
Maybe I can have some fruit and a yogurt abit later.

Yep, they come in pack of 2 flavours don't they so it's the Blueberry and Fruits of the forest...both yummy :)

I went and did aqua aerobics yesterday and I must say it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be and bits are aching today!
Food wise, yesterday I pretty much ate the same as the day before so won't bother typing all that I ate.

Going to the gym in a mo, then off to my mums to cook her a healthy vege curry for lunch.

This week is going soooooo slowly, I wanna get my 1st weigh in over with!
I am off in a mo to 'the funky funhouse' with 2 of my little cousins, it's an indoor play area thing so yay I get to go play for the afternoon! oh and burn off some calories of course!

I have the worst headache in the world :( I have had it for 2 days now and I just wanna go to bed and sleep til it's gone!

On the plus side, I'm sticking to my diet and haven't had any naughty treeats so far, so fingers crossed for a good loss again this week.

I have lost another 4lbs!
I am over the moon! Only managed to get to the gym once last week as have had alot of sickly animals to deal with at home and just not had the time to go and workout. So I am surprised at the loss!
