Coffeelovers Under 10lbs To Go

Morning, Think I ate way too much yesterday even if it was all legal.

Found lots of good ideas, recipes and info about low carb on about.com

No more sun for us :( hopefully will be better for the weekend but I doubt it.

Son received his course schedule from uni yesterday and it's all getting so exciting and REAL.

Have a good day.

B- veggie sausages a tiny corner of lavash bread w/sugar free peanut butter
L- tuna & egg salad
D- prawns w/ garlic & butter over shiritaki noodles.

Food sounds lovely Val, exciting news on uni for your son:)
Please tell all about your tan, I am contemplating a spray tan for a wedding we are going to in Slovakia at end of June.
Have a great day x

Hi Sandra, it's L'oreal sublime bronze self tanning gel. It's instant but it also develops so go lightly. I use the one for fair skin. I love the results and it's pretty cheap. Let me know what you think. x

Morning Val:)

All this talk of tans....it's drizzling here!

Drizzling here too today Katie, hope it improves for the weekend.

As I wrote on the shirataki thread OMG - they have totally sorted out the fishy odor and I thoroughly enjoyed them last night. They were amazing (see shirataki thread if you want the unedited account)

Had a sneaky weigh in and can't remember what day I started induction but I'm 3lbs down and happy. 10 pounds to go until goal. Going to stick with it for at least another week or two. I felt really, really down last night and now I remember this from last time. What could it be? I'm not missing carbs at all and my joint pain has gone, as it always does when I cut out wheat, but there is a big black cloud following me for no reason:(

Finish work at 6pm today and that's me until tues. so hoping so to get in some nice family time and nice weather please!!

Hope you have a good day all xx

B- omelette
L- ham salad w lots of veggies and olive oil dressing
D- chicken & veg

Well done on sticking with induction Val, you have done really well, sorry to hear you are feeling a little low, I think we all have those days from time to time. Hope you have a lovely long weekend, we are heading to Glasgow tomorrow for long weekend so hope the weather is fine, I will find it hard sticking to plan but will do my best. Looking forward to staying with our lovely friends and having a good laugh and natter. Hope you feel a bit brighter today x :)

Well done on sticking with induction, look forward to reading your diary.

You're doing so well Val! Well done!! Hope you feel smiley soon xxx

Feeling much better today. Weird dreams though.

Susie, just listening to Gordon on R3, he has a 'Ewan McGregor ' accent! Beautiful piece he's requested and lovey story behind it.

Looks like it could be a semi lovely day. Off until tuesday so hope to get a bbq in at some point and my very favorite thing to do read in the garden with a cocktail at hand.

Weird side note- last night I went to use the downstairs loo and lifted the lid and saw a little toad staring out at me. Screamed, slammed the lid and scared the cats and they went tearing around in circles. OH put it outside when he got home a little while later. WTF how did that get in there? Has this happened to anyone else?

Grocery shopping today we're out of everything. Not sure if I'm having wine tonight or not. OH caved in and brought home a bottle last night and I had 2 glasses. Didn't make any difference on the scales this morning. I think I'm becoming a serial scale hopper. :)

Hope you all get some weather and time off this weekend. XX

B- veggie sausages-mushrooms- spinach
L- something in a lc wrap
D- prawn curry from M&S (delish) w/ added veggies

Morning Val! I'd have screamed if a toad appeared in my toilet!! What a fright!

Hope you have a good day xxx :)

It's never happened to me but I always look before I sit for rats and snakes as I've heard plenty of stories about them being in the loo!!!

Oh no Jo!!! That's even worse than toads!! Lol

Morning Val, how strange, do you think the cats brought it in and it jumped in? Or where does the waste pipe go? Perhaps it got in via the waste pipe?
Have a lovely weekend, enjoy the BBQ x

Hi Sandra, lid is never up so think it got in through the drain pipe. Prob because it's been so dry and hot.

Years ago at a holiday house in France, the year they had so many fires because it was so dry (2003 I think) there was a scorpion in our shower on the third floor!!

Hi Val, well done on the 3lb loss - that's fab! Induction rocks, doesn't it? :D

As for wildlife in the loo...blimey! Sometimes I don't turn the light on when I have to go at night - not any more!

Val, you should have got Lainey round she would have sorted the toad out and could add it to her collection! :)

LOL Sandra, good idea :)

I used to have to look out for red back spiders in Oz - mostly because they are deadly poisonous!
