Question for red day people?
I have some pork mince I have to use up today. Does anyone have any ideas or recipes I could try?
Had chicken curry today and yesterday for lunch and and have made so many meatballs recently.
Dont wanna syn or B potatoes, rice or pasta as its weigh in tomorrow and il be having the leftovers of tonight for my lunch tomorrow.
Any ideas?
Hi Girls I am back.
I had an excellent weekend and was really good syn wise. I took loads of free food with me and ate that. I did have a bit of a naughty blow out on Saturday evening as Mum made syn free spag bol but also had garlic bread and I couldnt resist it so ate loads :-( I was god drink wise and had 1 bottle of wine over the whole weekend so all in all I think it was quite good damage limitation. I am feeling a bit fed up today and was really peed off yesterday so am finding it very difficult to stick to plan. I am though but I am not hungry so not eating.

What about substituting bns for potatoes? We had bns chips with eggs, beans and sausages last night and didn't miss the "propper" potato chips

Iceburg lettuce
500G Minced pork
Grated Ginger
2 Garlic Cloves crushed
2 spring onions finely chopped
1 stick of celery finely chopped
1 can of water chestnuts finely chopped
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 Tbsps of oyster sauce 1 syn
1tsp sweetener
1 tbsp of sesame oil 6 syns
Separate the lettuce
Mix soy,oyster sauce together with sweetener
Put the mince in a wok and cook until browned
Heat sesame oil in wok and add garlic ,ginger and spring onions
Add the water chestnuts and celery and cook for a few minutes
Add the sauce mixture and the pork and reduce until you have preferred texture
Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves and enjoy
