Onward and offward!

And your Weight Loss chart really shows what they often say on the French Dukan forum - that the weight loss isn't steady and gradual but that there are often peaks and troughs (like the teeth of a saw!)

I did miss you last week because I think we do share a lot in common on the psychology of our eating/dieting :)

That's true... we do.

Thats why I said mine werent getting a rabbit, 'cause I would end up doing everything.Thats mine off to school hooraay!! just having brekki then off to feed the hens/ducks/turkey, then maybe a day off soap making as I NEED to get the website open, plus I have my fragrance order on its way, hope it comes today, though I'm sure it will be tomorrow.
Sitting laughing at the kitten sitting on the window sill wagging its tail at the birds, think its getting a bit cross lol.

Missing you too Jet :)

Cathy isn't it funny how the kitten's instinct is to hunt :)... I'm guessing there's no older cats to show it the way there?....it amazes me how they naturally "know" what to do/even though they're fed etc.... :)

No animals here - thankfully as you say Scrumper I know for a fact I'd be the one to end up doing the clearing out :S

ps. Morning Ladies xx (09:46am:D)

yeah i love pets but we are the ones left holding the mess .........
I want to get the chickens back but have said not till i can sort it so cleaning out the boxes is easier or I get some help

supposed to be tidying up but the motivation just isnt there , didnt help that when we went into school today they had the heating on and back here ive just realised how cold it is so may have to relent and put it on !!!

it is funny, she watches them all day. Shes not getting them though. As soon as she is old enough shes getting spayed, then let out for a bit, and eventually she can stay out at night and come in through the day, dont mind her catching mice but I will be cross if she catches birds

One nation controlled by the media.
Information age of hysteria.
It's calling out to idiot America."

YouTube - green day - american idiot HD

:) get ya groove on.......burn some calories and warm yourself up ;) you might even find your motivation for cleaning with a decent album on :D

lol you never know !!!

Afternoon (just for me)!

Been out all morning with a friend gathering chestnuts. Most are still on the tree (the chestnuts, not the friends) so will need to go back in a few days. Chestnuts aren't allowed for Dukan, but we'll roast some for the kids and it's a good walk to get there, the chestnuts are a bonus!

It's not too cold here, definitely Autumn though. I did need a (thin) coat on this morning though could do without it now.

Hope everyone's OK!

Hello and morning all!

(I've been doing some number crunching, and statistics for end of 3rd quarter, and I lost an hour... and just had to find it! Very annoying to have lost a billable hour, but t'was good to find it again!)

My two cats sit on the window ledge looking out wistfully and when they spot a pigeon (alas all they're likely to see around here I reckon!) they talk... grumble grumble... very amusing! One has never ever been out. The other was a stray kitten (awh!) so has already unfortunately had her paws on fresh meat...

My sister however had a mouse in her house one day ON HER BED and the cat sat and watched it! so they don't all have the right instincts!

Jet - you're an original!
Robin - how lovely to have chestnuts to pick! I love chestnuts!
Sarah - how's tricks?
Hello to all... might have to disappear in a mo but will be back with my lunch...

I got on the scales last night... the new electronic ones my other half bought us with flashy lights... I figured if I got on last night, then again this morning, it would whisper sweet nothings at me cos I'd have LOST WEIGHT this morning... sure enough. BUT it also flashed a light that I had to look up and it was suggesting that my diet wasn't correct and that I needed to increase my carbs. hoho! (This is just comparing my "muscle wasteage" from last night to this morning, so I'll have to keep an eye on that light.) Very colourful it was too - a totally dark bedroom, while other half slumbered, and my scales were flashing wildly at me!

So I'm 75.9K this morning. For statisticians among you some 4.8K heavier than my START Dukan weight... and still 3.6K up on my 17 September pre-holiday weight. I deserve it and know I've already lost loads of water weight cos my fattist clothes are fastening better...

I'll figure out next week this time whether I'll restart Dukan Mon Oct 11...

There was a pidgeon pecking round my feet at the bus station this morning, it didnt have any feet/claws/whatever, just stumps but was hopping about quite happily.

Be good whilst deciding Jo. Is fruit season coming to an end soon?

Morning ladies. Daughter No.1 at pre school, Baby laying on her mat playing and I too should really be using this time to clean the house but it's so much more fun sitting here drinking tea and chatting to you lot. I'm glad I'm not the only animal nut on here. We are lucky enough to live next to the beach and between us and the beach is a small nature reserve. Sounds idylic doesnt it, but really the nature reserve just serves as a fast food take out for my cats :( Since last night I have had to remove from the house 2 mice (alive) 2 rats (half eaten) 1 lizard and a slow worm. I cant wait til it gets cold and all the animals hibernate.

On the plus side we get a deer in our garden (that insists on eating everything I grow!) and 3 iron age cows lean over the fence and eat our willow tree.

Just call me doctor doolittle :D

If I knew how to put pics up (not sure I'm able to) I would show you our 'neighbours'.

Been great coming back on here and spending a few hours catching up on diaries etc ..... plus finding out I can now have s/f jelly!!!

I've been off here for a bit because of visits to Cheshire where my 2month old grandson is ... (oh and my 2 daughters!!!) plus lots of visits to Kent as my mother has senile dementia and during the last 2months has had 2 really bad falls. She's now been in hospital for the last 2weeks and is not really even holding on .... so I may disappear again .... but promise to be back if I do and this time will TRY to keep Dukan-ing!!

Bye for now ... must go job hunting!!!
