LMAO at the shock of him knocking it off...
My brother's exactly the same.. his PC is NEVER off!! Their electric in the main part of the house went the week before last so he brought in an extension lead, pugged it in to the kitchen extension (on a different switch board) and connected back up his internet thru there too, so he wouldn't miss playing his games.. Apparently he'd have missed some war or other if he hadn't done and been knocked out.. God forbid!!!! Seriously.. he's 34 years old!! Wouldn't expect that from a 10 year old!!

Oh my word at your brother! Now I do believe there is nothing wrong in a hobby but when it takes over your life like that then its no good!
I know what you mean,Jon is 40 and my son who is 15 doesn't play it that much!
I think Jon would need rehab if we didn't have the net for a week or games/books on his phone!

Yea Dave is the very same.. Like, before they'll have a family day out he needs a couple of days notice to arrange for other gamers (apparently that's what they're officially called!!) to look after his "army".. Or apparently he can apply for leave!!! Like HELLO.. ITS A GAME!!!!! I couldn't have it.. i'd go ballistic.. I'm very lucky with Jonathan.. he likes playing the x-box but will go months without it.. The whole month we were in Hughes Road he had it on once.. That was the night I had my jacuzzi bath.. lol

Wish Jon was more like that, before the ps3 it was his phone and before he moved it it was a Internet game on his laptop which he did play hardly ever once he moved in and not at all once I found out he was messing about on it! That must be soo frustrating having to arrange family days out like that! Though sometimes Jon keeps me waiting while he finshes a part of the game though I've been known to say errr just pause it!!!

I think i'd smash the PC.. hee hee.. Couldn't be coping with that.. My ex was completely and utterly OBSESSED and addicted to football.. Didn't matter who was playing or at what level, he HAD to watch it.. And then came the gambling with it.. He had to bet on these games coz "its a certainty" or a "banker"... We argued so much over it.. So glad to be away from all that now

Lol I've smashed him a few times instead ;0)
Yea I remember you saying about your ex,I think doing your own thing in a relationship is healthy but if the 'hobby' takes over your life and the other person feels like they are last on your list then it's no good at all!

Yea I totally agree...

Take the fuse out the plug lol ;-) x

Maybe set aside an hour a night (to start with and build it up) where no phones, computers or games are allowed. Even snuggling up watching tv is fine doesn't need to be constant talking about feelings or anything lol :p x
