Well done hun.. That's excellent :) Almost there... :D xx

Ha.. Jonathan takes my phone off me if I take it out of my bag when we're together.. And there's no checking FB etc inhis company.. So I sneak a peek when he goes the loo.. But only if there's some scandal going on that I've noticed and want to be nosey on.. If we go on hols he takes my phone n locks it in the safe.. I'm allowed have it to check in with ppl when he's in the shower ONLY.. Anyone would think I was constantly on it.. I only ever reply when ppl hav text me.. But he says its "our time" and I appreciate that :)

Thanks hun about my loss :0)
Last year I treated Jon to his birthday meal and while we were sitting there he got his phone out and starting thanking people for his birthday wishes! So i was sitting there like a spare wheel,I walked out of the pub in the end as was getting upset and yes a row happened and he would often bring up that I ruined his birthday! Erm no you were rude!!! Etc etc..I wont go on lol
So I do see what your Jonathan means only cos I've often been on the harsher side of things!

Oh I don't ever take out my phone if we're out.. It'd only ever be if we're sitting in watching TV or whatever..
If we're out to dinner or movies or anything, usually I'd leave my phone in the car.. If we go to the pub just us, I bring it, but its in my bag until he goes out to catch cancer (for a cigarette) and then I'll just play on it to pass time while he's outside..
I'd never be so rude as to take it out over dinner

Yea same here and say if we are watching Smallville I ignore texts unless it's my son as we text night to each other..

Haha,we did a thing once where we spent a Saturday together with no phones etc,he couldn't get to sleep that night so he had to read off his phone in the end,he couldn't last a week,I know that answer lol ;0)

Hehe! Reminds me of when we had a tree bring a power line down a few years ago. We had no electricity for about 5 days. We read, talked, played games and (ahem!) had early nights! My friend round the corner said it really made her realise how little her and her partner actually held proper conversations. The other thing is, you go to bed soon after it gets dark and you wake up at dawn really refreshed. I think having electricity means we can by-pass the natural body rhythms. (Wouldn't want to live without it though!)

Oh God.. 5 days with no power?? My niece set our house on fire a few years back n we had no electricity for about 5 r 6 hour stil we had an electrician out to check it n do whatever needed doing to make it safe.. I thought I was going to go insane!!!! Was delighted to have my fully charged laptop with my hotshot internet.. So while everyone else was wandering around lost, I was sitting on FB :D

I totally get what you are saying, maybe I should've paid the electric bill late instead of the council tax lol ;0)

LOL! At first we thought 'Aaarrrrggghhhh! We'll never survive', but you do get used to it and in a strange way it's sort of 'liberating' - quite back to nature!

How on earth did your niece manage to set the house on fire?

She was in her beedroom which she shared with her Mam, and my Mam and Dad (Overcrowded house alert!!)
She was trying to light a candle... Using a lighter and tissue paper!!!! She got a fright when the tissue burned so quickly and thru it in the waste paper bin.. It lit up in no time.. She, being too afraid to come tell anyone, went and sat on the steps reading her book looking up and the bedroom curtains lit..
Only reason we realised as soon as we did was coz my brother had cut his finger so my Mam went up to get him a plaster.. She opened the door and was thrown right back from the pressure of the blaze.. Thankfully it was mainly just smoke damage to any other room in the house but all doors were shut (luckily) but the front bedroom was gutted!! And thank God no-one was seriously hurt.. My Mam was pretty badly shaken and my brother needed to be on the oxegen machine for a bit but both were OK..
