Oh just seen it in ur diary, dint see that bit b4

Haha more like ice cream to help, the doctor was saying bout lack of fiber, eating too much fat, butter etc,to be honest even when I'm good food wise I still have a lot of trouble!
Do the capsules help?

The mint ones? Yes they did for me - I was having a particularly bad bout, and had them and the mint tea for a couple of days. Although everyone's different in what affects them. When I was 'diagnosed' in my 20s the Doctor said it was probaly coffee that was the problem. I was only drinking one cup a day, and I said to him that I thought fruit, especially citrus fruit in combo with certain root veg and cabbage/cauli etc ('cruciferous veg') caused the worse problems. He laughed and said 'No' so I went away and looked it up and found that all three were common known triggers! I think you have to work out what are your triggers, and then try different things to see what works for you.

Edited to add - too much fibre makes me worse, especially wheat, but the Docs often recommend more wheat and wholegrains!

Yea I'm the same if I eat too much veg r fruit. Thus us how u discovered the soluble fibres. Docs really only by books don't they?! Silly really!!
My doc recommended I have a cup of strong coffee in the morning as its a natural diuretic apparently. Works for me ;)
Also penny fizzy sweets are another one! My supervisor in work told md that OBE. Her doc told her ha

Yeah, it's such a 'catch-all' diagnosis really.

Yep probably work doing. Note down any symptoms and when you get them, then you can compare with your food diary and see which foods seem to be affecting you. Also you might find, like me, that some foods are ok, unless combined with other certain foods. You might find it's worse when you are stressed or worried too.

Yea I do agree about the stress bit!
Ok,will see how I get on! Will take awhile but I've suffered for years so a bit longer won't make much difference lol
