I know. Surprisingly I wasn't that disappinted. A loss is a loss and I was prepared for it. I know I'm going to work really hard this week and stay on plan and even enjoy a few drinks out on Friday night. I especially found talking at group really helpful, it was good to talk to people who understand and everyone was listening. It was really nice. Therapeutic in a way.

I lost 0.5lbs last week and was pleased with that so I agree. Glad that you find group helpful.

I haven't had a gain yet so far (in 24 weeks :D) but fully expect one this week because of the meals out this week. I will try and stick to plan apart from the 2 flexi days. Hopefully because I'm expecting it and know that it will probably happen I will accept it and move on. Fingers crossed.........!

I think it definitely helps when you're prepared for the gain.

I've just been to the gym. I did 10km on the bike and 2km of mixed jogging/walking. Feeling pretty damn good now :)

Well this week hasn't been to bad, I've been on plan every day so hopefully a loss on Monday and hopefully a bigger one that 0.5lbs. It's hard not to be discouraged by such slow weight loss, I had hoped it would be quicker. People keep saying it's because you've not got lots to lose but I know that's not true, I've got 2 stone to lose!! I've not been able to get to the gym this week, I've had a horrible cold all week and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I don't usually let a cold stop me but this one has really taken it out of me.., I hate using syns for lemsip!!

I have to keep reminding myself a loss is a loss and I'll get there if I keep going...

Feeling pretty low tonight, I just want to eat and eat and drink!! Thought ranting on here would let off a bit of steam!

Actually, I don't think 2 stone is that much to lose. And I know it's frustrating but this isn't a race. As long as it's coming off (which it is !) then that's great.

When you look at what you've achieved so far (both on WW before this) and on SW, you should be really proud.

2 stone feels a lot to me but I am proud of what I've done so far :)

The scales aren't being kind to me though, they're not showing a loss but we'll see what happens on Monday... Another week of sticking to plan for a 0.5lbs lost is getting tiresome.

Weigh in this morning and I lost 1lb. After 2 weeks of only getting 0.5 I'm pretty pleased :)

Not sure how this week is going to work out. Tomorrow I have an operation on my mouth (sadly they're not sewing it up!!) so I'm not sure how that's going to affect what I can eat. Friday I have lunch out because I'm going to a spa for the day. Hopefully the menu will be slimmer friendly!

The surgery on my mouth went well yesterday. In quite a bit of pain but was able to stick to plan using syns. Still in pain and having to be very careful what I eat.

I'm looking forward to the spa on Friday. Not massively looking forward to getting into a swimming costume but I bought one today and it didn't look too hideous. Thank god for tummy control, I've even managed to find one that I can squeeze my boobs in without having to go to bravissimo and empty my bank account!!

I went to the spa for the day last Friday and had a wonderful day. There was a time walking around in a swimming costume would haved me with dread but I actually didn't feel too bad. I am still very conscious of my tummy but I think what was keeping me feeling ok is I know I'm in control, I'm in the process of losing weight and next time we go I will be a lot slimmer, possibly brave enough for a tankini (I won't go as far as bikini!!) The buffet lunch was wonderful too, I made sensible choices and had small amounts of the naughty things. Overall it was a great day :)

Then I got to Monday, weigh day and I'd lost 0.5lb. Considering the treats on Friday and being naughty with chocolate and a slice of pizza on the weekend I was pretty pleased. I keep reminding myself it's all in the right direction. When I first joined SW they asked me what my target weight was, I hadn't really thought about it so I picked 9 stone 7lbs. That now seems quite unachieveable for me at the moment and I'm not sure I want to go that low, even though for my height it is suggested by bmi. I spoke to my leader and have changed it to 10 stone. That feels more achievebale to me and I can always go for the extra half stone if I feel like it when I get to target. I'm 3lbs away from my first stone award, I'd like to get that in the next 2 weeks but we'll see how that goes.

Oh dear, that was quite a ramble. :rolleyes:
 
Not rambling so don't worry. Well done on having a lovely weekend and staying in control. That is the perfect weekend so that you don't feel deprived but are sensible. You should be very proud of yourself.

Well done on revising your target too. It's important that where you get to is both achievable and maintainable. Fingers crossed.

It was my weigh in this morning and I've lost 2.5lbs this week, I was over the moon. I may have even screamed in delight a little bit! So I'm 0.5lbs away from my stone award which I'm sure I'll get next week.

I have a meal out tonight at Las Iguanas which I'm really looking forward to. I'm hoping to strike a balance between having something I want and a sensible SW choice, I'm thinking chilli and rice. I'm sure there will be a couple of cocktails involved too and birthday cake as it's a friends birthday but I'm hoping it won't do too much damage. I plan to enjoy it tonight, not worry too much and straight back on plan tomorrow.

Last week I ate a lot more fruit and vegetables and I was making sure I drank more so I think that has helped and I'm going to keep it up this week.

Also, I bought new jeans and tops in a 14 and they fit really well so all in all I'm feeling really positive. :)

WELL DONE Sarah. That is brilliant ! It really needs to be next week. You are in need of a new shiny :)

As you have probably seen from my thread, I have lots of meals out and I just have to manage them in the same way as everything else. Some I do my best to stick completely to SW, others are completely off plan and most are somewhere in the middle (ie have SW friendly as much as possible, but then have pudding or some wine). This is not a diet, this is real life. Hopefully you will continue to stick to the plan even when you get to goal so this is just practice for getting there !

Wow, only just over a stone to go. That's brilliant :D

After a mix of good and naughty days I lost 2lbs this week which got me my 1 stone award!! To get to club 10 I have 1.5lbs to go and 1 stone 3lbs to target!
